wow.. whoever set up the hardware puts the hard work and neat installation of the cabling tech to shame... the 110 blocks are perfect.. the CAT5 going to the jacks from the patch panel are great...
whoever set up the patch cords should be fired on the spot - any troubleshooting could end up taking down the whole network - and then you have to try to figure out where the wiring came from...
spend the extra time and do the job neatly, so it is easier for future add/move/change
oh oh ok i see thats thats the one the left mm mm. ok ah ha so thats the one on the right ok i see now uh huh ok yep there's a orange line oop ye yep there are some blue lines.. mmmhumm ok ok here is a umm yeah 110 punch block yep ok .lmfao
Someone tried to make some things a little neat, placement of like things together and the telephone patch.
As for the racks however, IMO it could use some reworking. How many colors of cable are there 10+/- ? There are alot of bundles whose loops create clutter, singles running all about. I've also found more installs using plywood/other for tele, no wall-drilling for add-ons, less damage/repair to wall if ever removed/rearranged.
The cables are hanging because of its short length and cable ties were not properly arranged and so on... it's a shame... for hobbyist, enthusiast, students, technicians, and engineers.
i hate to be in that room! :o thous server can create sooo much heat iv been in a room at a school once with 20 servers in the room was over 100 deg. soo damn hot soon i step in i was like damn! lol :P
Huh? "Neat & organized?" I would like to kindly suggest that it's way past time to obtain some longer patch cords, & seriously rewire your entire closet over a 3-day weekend or so. Yes, it'll probably require about four people. However, I'm sure there's bound to be some type of advantage to it; I just can't think of one right now.
Why is it soo messy?

This wiring is total shit. I could have done better using Mexican Enginuity if I was going to stay out of compliance.

It looks neat and organized given the large number of cables involved.
