Tip: bomb marks will stay even if you leave the room. So you'll know if you tested for a hidden room by the bomb marks on the floor. :D

And you can blow up gambling machines and such.

Always buy blue hearts.

One more protip for this video, in case you didn't notice it in the other comments people posted. Every item you pick up (minus pills and cards) have a description/explanation that also pops up in the bottom right corner of the screen along with the item name in the middle of the screen. Also... with that in mind, Spoon Bender was homing shots, as it said in the video.

12:00 Keep an eye out for blue-tinted rocks like the one on top in that room. They contain goodies if you bomb them. A lot of people say they have an 'X' on them.. but I don't see it... all I know is that those rocks always look the same, and they have that distinctive tint compared to normal rocks.

Protip: The High Priestess card wipes out a HUGE portion of a boss's health with its stomp, and it only targets you if there are no enemies in the room. Also.. Tarot cards always have the same effect through different playthroughs, unlike pills. I'm not going to list them though, it's fun to learn. ;)

Hey Ian, Protip, Pills of the same color will retain the same effect over the same playthrough, but change each time you start a new game. The ??? will be replaced by the effect next time you find a matching pill. Also.. if you want to know about the 'Bad Trip' pill, continue reading. Bad Trip does on heart of damage to you when you take it.. HOWEVER, it turns into a 'full health' pill if you have one heart or less.

Tip: The Spoon is homing tears/shots. The Bad Trip! pill caused you to lose a heart, but if you have half a heart, Bad Trip! becomes a full health pill. Bobby Bomb gives you some bombs, and makes your bombs attracted to nearby enemies. And mom's heels gives better range. Hope this will help you play, Ian! :3

You can bomb open doors that require a key if you don't have one. I'm not sure about chests though.

@jacobthehedgehog False. You can only bomb open normal doors that are closed during combat. Locked doors can not be bombed open. However, the Barred challenge room doors can be 'flown' through if you can fly.

Also there are items in the rocks with X's on them.
