Hey can you please answer this question? How do you do that combo so seamlessly at 0:08. I can't do that without losing the flip and doing the kick. Please if anybody knows how to do that please respond. Thank you.

Agree with most of the comments here. Yoshi has a high skill ceiling. Mid level players might find him weak, but a pro Yoshi is nigh on unbeatable.

yoshimitsu can be an awesome char but how good he is depends entirely on your ability to block because he is a pretty slow char compared to some of them

i have used yoshimitsu since tek 2 and when i first started playing tek 6 i stopped using him because without being pretty amazing at blocking you will loose every time to a cheap char like bob or alisa

iv started playing him again but my winrate is only about 70% which isnt great compared to my devil jin rating which is almost 90%

Yoshimitsu is a good character for decent players because as a noob, you would probably tend to hit the controller buttons on the right hand side madly. With Yoshimitsu this is a BAD idea because alot of his attacks are grabs and throws, and they should only be used at certain times.

I know one of my friends whose a yoshi user.. He uses the harakiri but only once and after that he prefers that spinning attack with the sword still in your gut. It is very damaging if you can get close enough to use it on an opponent

yeah, I think its called "blood dance" (the one where he spins whith the sword in him, not putting the sword in him), its very damaging, yeah, but it does more damage to yourself, so I prefer only to use it in emergency situations, but even then i'd rather use that spinning sword attack that makes you dizzy if you do all of it (not the self damaging one) for a quick KO if there low on health.

Ethier way, yoshimitsu FTW! He's my faverate.

@cpmc1 I could see it being usefull in the rarest of situations where the yoshi is on near full hp and uses it, the first suicide misses and the othre player is stupid enough to run into the second one. But that never happens so its pretty much just a joke move.

The double suicide doesnt hurt u if u kill them wile using it. Its just a handi move if ur in that position

Yeah, but I still prefer to use "slap u crazy" (spelled whith "u" not "you") for the KO or "Manji low kicks".

BTW: Do you know a practicle use for the move "Soul posession" (the one were he puts his arm out and atempts to grab you and if succesfull he would usaly steal some health, but this time he takes some of his own health actualy heals the oponent!). The "real" one is called "soul siphon" and does steal health.

Actualy I have been using it, and guess what!

Its is actualy usfull for getting someone OUT of rage then you know them out whith one attack (or slap u silly (spelled whith "u" and not "you")).

OR it can be used to get YOURSELF into rage, though its very risky, and Yoshimitso has ALOT of moves that take tacticaly take his health away.

Suicide doesn't hurt when the first hit connects but it must kill your enemy; Double Suicide however you're guaranteed to damage yourself in the first stab unless in that very stab you kill them and you're second stab wont count because the batte's finished <----what Zacraar23 meant. It's pretty fortunate in tekken they made these changes because in Soul Calibur Yoshi takes the dmgs first before the enemy gets dmg in tekken its the other way around.

Actually, Yoshimitsu is not weak. He's just difficult to be used properly. He's quite a rewarding character for those players who like to fight with tricks instead of rushing offensively. That's all.

I'm just glad that Yoshimitsu's Kangaroo Kick is actually more useful now. It seems faster and actually launches the enemy in a way that they can be juggled more easily.

Yoshimitsu isn't weak, he may be fast, but he's pretty powerful compared to some characters in the roster. And btw, many of the moves or strings that you now see in tekken 6, don't mean that they're necessarily gonna come out correct in Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the PSP, I'm sure that's the one your talking about, since it's the only tekken or pretty much the best fighter for the PSP system yet. Don't forget that many of the moves for tekken 6 have been redone and function a bit differently.

10 hits are simple to learn, but are also very unpracticle because they are predictable, especially against those who have played for a while. Also, most combos in

Tekken, unlike other fighters, counts combo hit even when there are guard points, and if it has a guard point, it technically isn't a combo.

I was replying to someone who plays tekken DR on PSP (I do to) and he needed asked for some moves. I told him about the ten hit combos because they work against the computer and under average human players. And I like the multiple sword attacks in the end of the combos :)
