does the ribbon make all the diffrence i can't seem to controle mine with out the ribbion i can fly it in a streight line but thats about it

The ribbon really helps to balance the aircraft and stabilize it in light winds as it tends to pull the dragonfly facing into the wind and help in flight ecovery, I had my dragonfly for about a year already and I never fly without it.

i need tips on how to go up!!! I dont know how to climb!

To get the dragonfly to go up you will need to best fly on calm conditions and with very fresh batterys to efectivelly charge the bug...have the settings set on expert and use the ribbon for high altitude flight trim must be nuetral - to actually climb, try not to dip in flight as that produces stalls which waste energy.Fly in large circles.Finding updrafts is possible with skill try to ride the air currents. slow turnings are best for climbing. Green dragonflys seem to fly better than the blue.

i disagree with that remark NintyGuy999. it's very compact, and lightweight. its easy to control, and their fun. don't go posting stuff that aren't true. this this is simply the best thing i have purchased. except for the psp slim :P

no ive seen these and the 3 ive seen were all hard to control and weren't good at flying, my picco z helicopter flys alot better and is half the price, and as for the psp that another pile of crap, ive had a normal psp since it came out and i hardly ever pick it up now, its just gathering dust.

I completely agree. He is definitely a great pilot, as he has nearly perfect throttle control. I played with one of these at my friends house, and It was SO fun!

Maybe ours is broken but its fresh out of the box on Christmas and it doesnt fly like this- it just falls right to the ground.  Disappointed son, crappy product!

chrge it like for 15 mins and it lasts for around 5 - 10 mins :)

and i dont think they can hover.

Sounds to me like you're the one that sucks...who's the one controlling it when it crashes...you might want to ponder that for a while, and see if you can come up with a logical answer. If the device really did suck, you wouldn't be the only crybaby griping on you tube.

for tight spaces make sure the tail ribbon is on, set the controller to expert for tighter turning and dont fly at full throttle as it will easily stall and give an erratic flight path :) i'll post a video of mine soon

One of the key things to flying those is to turn just before the thing pitches up, because if you do it too late, it'll quickly lose altitude. I guess that's how the guy in this video keeps his at a steady altitude.

Definitely. I think it can charge up to 10 different times on 1 set of batteries. You hav'n fun with it?

yeah just sometimes it doesn't fly very good, it just like gradually goes to the ground

i notice it helps keep stable by giving it a little spin on the tail. Use the dial to give the back rotor a little spin, that usually helps me keep up in the air longer.

It scoots along the ground and never gets any air. The wings are hitting the ground and sort of messes it up. I just launch it by hand.

This is the coolest thing I've seen for a long time! HAHAH... How much time does it take for the batteries to waste?! And how far can you go woth this.. I mean, how many meters can you separate the dragonfly from the remote control? Cheers! :)

You put about 4 AA batteries in the handset and then charge the Dragonfly direct from the handset... Each flight can last around 10-15mins and then you'll need to charge the dragonfly from the handset again... My batteries are still working... and I've spent at least 2 hours on it.

Yeah they are pretty tricky to fly at first but really robusts so no need to worry about it breaking on it's first flight. Loads of fun and really easy to fly once you know how.

They are lots of fun! Make sure you have some decent room inside the house to fly it in. You can fly it outside too, but if its too windy, it wont stand a chance.

yeah i'm not the richest person and so i dont' have a lot of space to fly this thing in my house, i was thinking of getting the mosquito, an rc helicopter, cuz my house has no space for quick flying but this looks a lot better, how long does it take to charge?

Takes less than an hour to charge, and will fly for a good solid 10 minutes or so before you start to notice it getting weak. It also comes with a tail attachment that will help slow it down some so you have more control when you fly it indoors.
