did not know the old world tradition of cruising was still available. If I do a Transatlantic I will do it on Cunard, just as my family did a few generations ago.
There are many transatlantic cruises out there on many different lines as well. Many cruise lines reposition ships to different markets throughout the year (med to caribbean, or vice versa). There are even transpacific crossings with major cruise lines (Honk Kong to Vancouver). I am sailing on Royal Caribbean (my favorite) from Rome to Ft Lauderdale, 14 blissful nights, with 7 full days crossing the "pond".
