@bigbuzz99 If the dog isn't able to get adopted out because of social issues then it's better to put it down rather than allow it to sit in a cage or stay at the puppy mill, the whole time being scared and alone due to behavior problems. If they weren't in cages then the dogs wouldn't have been rescued at all, shelters cannot have 2000 dogs wandering around with each other in a room. The fee pays for spay/neuter and any health issues along with food. Pretty cheap, you know nothing about this.

Some people are disgusting, how could think it's alright to run a puppy mill! It's horrible. Those dogs don't know affection, it's awful that all they are used for is to breed for the owner to make money.

This also happened in Canada, it is a shame, but it is a waste to try defending our country, our country is not at fault it is the cruel people who do this to dogs. Puppy mills need to be stopped. Poor dogs :(

Is it not the citizens of our country who provide these people the money to continue running their mill? ALWAYS adopt at an animal rescue or from a reputable breeder in the community. i am not an animal activist as i eat meat (chicken, cow, rabbit) but i would never support animal abuse. this is crazy

It ISNT just Canada people..Its in the U.S. as well, Lots of animal abuse happens in the U.S. chinese skin animals alive, boil cats alive, shove them into teeny tiny cages where they can not move at all because there are other animals on each side of them cramping them in, then they are tossed off of HUGE trucks, shattering their little limbs. there are many many places you can get one. try searching on google for an animal shelter or humane society in your area. where in canada do you live? shelter dogs are amazing. you can find healthy, adorable, loving pups there. dont be discouraged if you look at first and dont find what you want. there are many shelters out there. but where in canada do you live

My God in Heaven - that was so disturbing. How could people torture dogs like that? My dog Snickers was also my best friend for 12 years. If someone had done that to her, treated her like in the puppy mills, well I would be afraid of what I would do to them. People normally keep the dogs for breeding purposes. They may also do this just to make money and they think it is easy to take care of dogs when it isn't

What a shame! I own a Basset Hound puppy, 7 months old. I didn´t buy him from a store, I found him on the street, he was OK. I took him because he might have run into trouble. I´m writing from Guatemala. That was 2 month´s ago, and he is such a beautiful dog! :-) It´s incredible that some people loose sensitivity to these creatures and use them just as commodities. :-(
