Freedom is an incredibly hard to define term. What some call freedom others call crime, adultery, and profanity. Economic freedom too is hard to define. Though I am uncomfortable with our growing debt I am optimistic with Obama's plans to narrow the class gap. Even if this means temporary government control during the transition, I can take it.
Be quiet man - dont try to sound all 'deep'? Freedom is the ability to do as you wish. We make reasonable social frameworks to stop people from infringing upon other people's freedom via COERCION or violence. I also fucking hate when you people do this 'oh I'll try anything - Even Socialism' wack-off crap. I like interesting hearing solutions as well, BUT SOCIALISM ISN'T AN 'interesting solution'. It has crippled EVERY country where it has been introduced!

The US defaulted on its debts to the world in 1971. Argentina made it longer than we did. If international trade wasn't denominated in dollars, demand for the dollar would have collapsed a long time ago. Hee Hee, he knows very, very, little about the IMF. To start with, the IMF is essentially a branch of the US Treasury. The Treasury provides most of its funds, and its gold is held at the NY Fed. How can we be subserviant to something we basically own? And second, the only nations that need fear the IMF or do what it says are nations who need its capital to meet their obligations. why NOT just pit the IRS, fully against the FED, demanding 100xallHoldings, and let FED send promissory note to Treas, and let Treas send "Lawful Money" Instrument to FED for holding...so that way we can create CORRECTLY "Checkbook Money" without having to collect from citizenty through tax, but through the intrest payments collected at Bank...correctly extinguishing the money.

economic mobility in america for middle class is terrible, 1.8% of individuals in the MC have a chance of reaching the top 5% of the income bracket, while children of MC only have a 1% and children of the top 5% of the income bracket have a 22% chance of reaching the top 1%.

how are the wealthy elite not benifiting from our tax policies. 1973-1993 the GDP rose by over 50% while wages dropped 14%, while in the 1980's alone the top 5% of households had a 20% increase in real income. there is only so much wealth that can go around with the top 1%having 35% and the the top 2-20% having 85% of all privetly held wealth that only leaves 15% for the remaining 80% of the population. the bottom 90% only have 12% of all the investment assets.

I can only hope that 2010 brings about a sweeping reversal in Congress, with actual Conservatives in charge, and hopefully Michele Bachmann as Speaker, will block everything Obama tries in the future. And that Sarah Palin becomes out President with a win in 2012.

Freedom is an incredibly hard to define term. What some call freedom others call crime, adultery, and profanity. Economic freedom too is hard to define. Though I am uncomfortable with our growing debt I am optimistic with Obama's plans to narrow the class gap. Even if this means temporary government control during the transition, I can take it.

I agree with you on one point. At this point and time they are only "advisories", and I also would not be comfortable with a foreign institution controlling our economy in this day in age.
