When I see these animated movies from my childhood I start to wish I had went into animation rather than concept art and Illustration...I would love LOVE to work on a remake to this (and a few others)...As long as Hollywood didn't get too involved.

Don McLean didn't do the soundtrack. He sang the title song, and he didn't write it, either. He's made comments about the conflicts he had with the songwriters.
