Hey grantwall! Terrific video from a great vantage point with superb editing. I'm a diehard Canadian Colberophone (in all truthiness) and you just made my day! A much appreciated post. Thanks for being so generous!
Jonesing for the televised airing, I thought to try youtube to see how it went. I have been through other postings and have squinted and twitched --as though I would see it better! :) Thank you so much for this. You had a good vantage pt, and it was nicely edited. Sincere thanks again for posting.
Thanks for posting. I'm not a Colbert fan but I had no idea he was in the city and so I missed it. I did see him again today inside Science World and caught pictures of him in my camera though.
Glad you enjoyed. It's quite shaky as I was a ways back at first, but I thought I'd post it for anyone who couldn't make it, or had to leave before it ended.
At least from the timestamps on the video my camera took, he first showed up around 10:35-10:40. Prior to that, they played a video of his road to Vancouver, which lasted 25 minutes.
It lasted quite some time, and finally ended around 12:15

I was on the hill by the slide. Best part was when he said he might, "fuck up", and he messed up like two seconds later.

Glad you enjoyed it. Sadly I was quite a bit back, so I was zoomed in, which makes for some shaky footage.
