PF ended when Roger quit. Yes, Dave guitar is Dave guitar. But 4 me, the last PF album was The Wall. Final Cut is a Roger solo album (without Rick on keyboards) and the following albums without Roger do not deserve to be branded as PF works. The sound is PF alike, but lacks of ideas. Even the concerts, very good effects, but a complete "greatest hits." I saw Rog in Argentina on In the Flesh tour and in Dark side tour, awesome! Plus is own material.

I've listened to Pink Floyd for about a long time. I always thought Waters was the the most distinct voice. It's not perfect but is the most memorable from the albums.Gilmour is an awesome guitar player, but Waters has more expression in one note of his cracking voice than Gilmour has. Gilmour has a smoother voice but is a boring singer. Gilmour wouldve been another Clapton (who I think is overrated)if he had'nt had Waters mad genius to build upon.

Haha. You're a Water's fan and i'm a Gilmour's fan. Yes, The Wall is a very good album, but for me, Pink Floyd is a progressive rock band with mostly amazing sounds of guitar, like solos of Comfortably Numb, Time, Sorrow, On The Turning Away, Money, High Hopes. Waters writes the lyrics, Gilmour plays his solos. In The Wall, some songs has got too many lyrics.

The Division Bell is mostly very evasive and not so "romantic" i think.

And you know, songs like Sorrow are great and certainly the best of Pink Floyd when you hear the live version. the guitar solo is an improvisation of Gilmour and its amazing.
