He tried to come back a few months ago. I don't know for how long he was planning to come back, a game or more, but he practiced with the Bobcats for a full practice session. He got back into shape, but his knees couldn't hold on, they had to wrap them in ice. But it's amazing that he is still trying to come back...I hope he'll find a solution and someway somehow will get his knees to hold his weight for at least one game or something...it would be so so so crazy if he came back for one game.

I am convinced, after watching this, MJ could still score 15+ ppg in the league today (in a reserve role, 25 mins a game). You can't stop his fade-away jumpers, up and under-type moves, spins, fakes, etc.

I feel this is a great mix because this video clearly shows us basketball players that fundamentals can take you very far. The younger generation might not be interested, but when they have a look back at this at a older age with more wisdom they will learn to appreciate how truly great Michael Jordan was at basketball. I always believed fundamentals and heart are better then athleticism alone.
MJ in 01/02 as a Wizard has better stats in Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Turnovers and Personal Fouls than Kobe is having this season !!!! I think that tells you all you need to know about this comparison. Kobe has the edge in points (25.1 vs 22.9), FG%(46.0 vs 41.6) (31.9 vs 18.9) and FT%(82.9 vs79.0). But we are talking about MJ at age 38-39 here !!!!! Please keep in mind how banged up MJ's knee was which caused his numbers to go down
So many people criticize him playing for the Wizards but even in his last season where he was no where as aggressive and 40 years old he averaged roughly 20pts 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The only players in the league who are doing that today are Lebron and D Wade. Blake Griffin is close, Kobe is .8 of a rebound a game from doing it but three of these guys have their best years ahead of them and Kobe is almost 8 years away from 40. I'll take MJ at 40 over most today.

I am convinced, after watching this, MJ could still score 15+ ppg in the league today (in a reserve role, 25 mins a game). You can't stop his fade-away jumpers, up and under-type moves, spins, fakes, etc.

@rairjordan If MJ got in the best shape he could, he could drop 20 in a reserved role. If all that was asked of him was to give them 25 minutes of pure scoring, he could do it...as a wizard, he had several first quarters scoring over 18 points...if he could go in there knowing he didn't have to save himself for the entire game, LOOK OUT.

Even tho he didn't had his quickness from back in the day he could still dominate youger players with his basketball fundamentals.. and his fadeaway jumper was the most beautiful shot I've ever seen - sooo smoooth.. and DAAAMN at that dunk @ 5:00 - it looked like the one from his "Air Jordan days"! This is a great mix for the younger audience, Baltus you really outdid yourself on this one. I feel this is a great mix because this video clearly shows us basketball players that fundamentals can take you very far. The younger generation might not be interested, but when they have a look back at this at a older age with more wisdom they will learn to appreciate how truly great Michael Jordan was at basketball. I always believed fundamentals and heart are better then athleticism alone.

MJ in 01/02 as a Wizard has better stats in Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Turnovers and Personal Fouls than Kobe is having this season !!!! I think that tells you all you need to know about this comparison. Kobe has the edge in points (25.1 vs 22.9), FG%(46.0 vs 41.6) (31.9 vs 18.9) and FT%(82.9 vs79.0). But we are talking about MJ at age 38-39 here !!!!! Please keep in mind how banged up MJ's knee was which caused his numbers to go down

So many people criticize him playing for the Wizards but even in his last season where he was no where as aggressive and 40 years old he averaged roughly 20pts 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The only players in the league who are doing that today are Lebron and D Wade. Blake Griffin is close, Kobe is .8 of a rebound a game from doing it but three of these guys have their best years ahead of them and Kobe is almost 8 years away from 40. I'll take MJ at 40 over most today.
