Dark Messiah Sword Combat

Oblivion would have been epic if it had implemented a combat system like this. But apparantly (hopefully) Skyrim are going to try and do something similar, so there's something to hope for.

Yeah... 4 months later I've played (finished) Skyrim and can pretty much agree with you. I had a feeling they would mess it up but it's still disheartening to see that realized. I will say they've improved the combat a bit in Skyrim, but improving on crap doesn't make it good. First I've heard of Disheartened though, gonna go look that up.

its offline and online. offline takes u through a story. online is a battleground.

Oblivion is nothing compared to DM considering combat. Strong Oblivions side is story, but i didnt play it much cuz combat sucked so much.

Even Oblivions story sucked to be honest with you. Very long but no excitment. Oblivion has only one strong side - vast exploration, but little else.
