Really liked this version from way, way back in 07. Like the ad-libbing. Some words couldn't make out but I got the message, "Alabama is my home". Would love to see it sometime but don't want to go alone, work schedule doesn't allow time to go this time of year. Some other day I suppose. Not enough hours in the day to do what I want. Constraints all around.

I just love how Taylor has changed this song from performance to performance. At the start of the spring tour, Taylor sang it straight as written for the Taylor Hicks album -- but NOW we're getting a truly soulful, bluesy, jazzy, earthy performance with some unbelieveably perfect tags. Thanks for sharing this wonderful performance.

I've been to the 2nd largest blues fest in the country, saw James cotton, Hubert Sumlin, Charmaine Neville, Saw Taylor here a few times, Joss Stone, Earth Wind and Fire, got BB King and Etta James coming up... Taylor is the real deal, he really NEEDS to be entertainer of the year for a new comer or something.. fantastic. ptb
