  • THUMBS UP IF YOU MISS PUNK AND GRUNGE

  • strangest music video ive ever seen. somehow its also the best.

  • @dootraanougat Duel, man yeah!!!!!!!

  • HQ...?

  • @fsfsfsfsfsfsg

    fuck off

  • @AzariaViviana hahaha, calm down man just joking, I love the video and the song! I don't really care about the quality its good enough to be able to watch it!

  • @fsfsfsfsfsfsg

i dont like hq. it reminds me of vevo. but i never wanted to offend you ;)

  • @AzariaViviana haha Calm down you didn't I sometimes like to troll in stupid videos just for fun so I've had it worse, but even so I wasn't trying-to here, just pointing out the obvious! but even so its not like I really mind!

  • J definately influenced Kurt Cobain

  • @Jerry13Only Oh yeah, let everybody say Van Gogh was influenced by Kurt's paintings when he was doing his art!

  • @OlympiaMusicTV hey eat shit

  • @Jerry13Only hey no thanks

  • @OlympiaMusicTV hey then fuck off

  • tired of radio mainstream if i had a radio station i would put all kinds of alternative on: dinosaur jr, lemonheads, etc.......

  • They played this last night in philly, shit was dope

  • they played this yesterday in nyc, the 2nd song of the set... AMAZING.

  • Got so happy when they played this last night!

  • fuck yeah

  • yesss, the 90s were amazing, dinosaur jr is great, but there will never again be a band like pavement

  • The greatest guitar solo ever in my opinion at 1:31!- j, just plays with such irreverent passion-blown away hearing this again! gonna have too trawl all that great 90's music ,now what was that swervedriver tune..

  • the greatest guitar solo ever in my opinion at 1:31- j, just plays with such irreverent passion-blown away hearing this again.

  • BEST SOLO EVER!

This was the 1st dino song I heard, back in like '91 while we were out Skating! I felt pure flying emotion. My heart was full of glowing joy.

Needless to say, I was hooked. Still my favorite band. J is my Brother.

    Thanks J!

  • FUCKIN' PITCHED VERSION

  • Comment removed

  • Such a heavily underrated song. This is their best song in my opinion.

  • the video must be great for stoners

  • his voice reminds me sooo much of thurston moore from sonic youth

  • the 90's were awesome

I miss those days, Dinosaur Jr, Mudhoney, Pavement, Pixies

The music scene was so exciting back then

  • Videos like this took a lot of talent and creativity to make, but in the end made a great video that is still looked upon as very inventive after many, many years. Now, any shmuck with a camera and with a "teen-beat" kid can make a three-minute music video about a vapid kid singing to an equally vapid girl. *sigh* Where has all the artistic integrity gone?

  • The first song on G&S "Footage". Duane Pitre, Rob Dyrdek and Steve Claar part. The best song in the best skate video ever!!!!!!!!!

  • @howmanyuwanna Blender was big pals with J, he also skates to dino's let it ride in SC speed freaks vid

  • simply one of the best period of our lives

  • Goddam this takes me back to the good days of no worries.......too bad I didnt realize that then.

  • @adam8707 haha none of us did.

  • Simply awesome, the song and the video, they are both sooo great.

  • one of my favorites as a kid.great.

  • the skate video the 89' or 90' G+S video.

  • whats this video about

  • I hate the 21st century... today I pretended that it was 1998, and it actually kind of worked.

  • @CommanderC00L558 1998? with youtube?

  • @EAW56 When I got home, I hopped on the computer to explain what I did.

  • During the guitar solo, if you turn it up and listen close you can hear them singing "You wont see me" some more. And the thing is on Rock Band they dont have the singer sing during that. And "You wont see me" is my favorite part...Oh well.

  • you dont know how

  • LOL Duck mocking 1:20-1:25

  • long live the 90s...nirvana, dinosaur jr, pavement... i miss those days...

  • @chelas67 never herd of pavement

  • @estiloquattro do yourself a favour and download their first 3 albums and play them over and over again till you realise how good they are.

  • @estiloquattro Look up Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain. Those two are my favorites, but the rest are all good in their own way too. Also, Steven Malkmus has been making music since the end of Pavement with backing musicians the Jicks. It's ALL good stuff.

  • @chelas67 Shit back then was dope cause it was recorded to tape. Analog has a better feel to it, even converted to digital (especially converted to digital actually).

  • So people out there making music, record your stuff to tape. & record your videos on tape too. Then we'll get back the scene, seriously.

  • I believe the skate video that featured this song was called "Hocus Pocus."

  • My tounge hurts

  • This song transport me to my teenage skater years... this song eppeared in an awesome skate video but i can't remember the name...

Long life to Dinosaur Jr!!! : )

  • this song is playing in a video with Rob Dyrdek skating when he was only 15 years old

  • What was the name of that video?

  • the video was G&S Footage. i believe someone posted the vid (finally) here. so rad.

  • @ldybby yeah mang

  • Type Rob Dyrdek 15 years old in search box.

  • i have the 7" that came out in '91 i think. it features 2 drummers.right drummer, left drummer.eddie ,now of Nebula,It was hs Idea, cuz he played drums for Dinosaur Jr. on the tour preceeding that single.j. pretty much took the concept from him with no cred given, or even a chance to play on the record.thats the story as it was told to me.

  • I have the one that came out in 1990 and it only lists Murph and Jay Spiegel on the drums. As for it sounding sped up... The Sub Pop release had the pitch upped just a tad for some reason.

  • yeah thats the one, on sub-pop. eddie played on the tour the summer before. no cred . he told me that j's an asshole!

  • ONE of the most under rated bands in the WORLD!!! Great band! seen them live a few times great show

  • That is so true! I am so jealous i wanna see them live!!!

  • yeah this is definitely a bit sped up. Still sick though! Dinosaur Jr videos are the best of the best. Nothing can match them for me in terms of nostalgia value

  • this is the bollox

  • I miss these kinds of videos, they're wierd, but you can't help loving them

  • @shredderaddy

u should check out the new j mascis video for not enough. simular vibe

  • green mind rulez!

  • I love this song, and this is the first time i see the video, is a bit faster than in the record.

  • You're right. The pitch is out so it must have been sped up.

  • This brilliant mess video was my first exposure to Dinosaur jr. I had forgotten how utterly fantastic it was.

  • Fked my brains out to this song when I was 20 in the back of a chevy.

  • This is visual and sound candy.

    I <3 Dinosaur Jr.

  • gooooooooo!!

  • at 1:08, the fishman has his rag in the bathtub
