@YurukiKarasawa Considering that the entire TGV network is 1000 km less than Amtrak No. 8's route, that's not very impressive. Electrifying a single 3500+ km U.S. main rail line (and there are several) and upgrading for high speed would be practically impossible and economically unfeasable (especially if you consider that most of the land the train crosses has a tiny population density).
