  • still like the northeast corridor

  • 0:39, do you think that noisy wheel is effecting the passengers?

  • @TheDylanJoyce no, these cars are very good with tht. they might hear it very soft, but dont feel it. ive roden it 3 times....

  • @TheDylanJoyce affecting NOT effecting

  • Uh oh, who let Casey Jones drive again... :-p Great shot.

  • BEST. PLACE. EVER!

  • He's running 78 mph. in this sequence. That would be accurate to a mph or less.

  • @docnelsontrain What? the limit is 70 here, on that elevated curve. Its very tight but its really tilted. prob 5 degree.

  • @docnelsontrain how do you know

  • @docnelsontrain He cant be. its about 70 on the curv, and 82 on streight.

  • Too bad Craig doesn't run out by you... He'd be pushing 90.

  • @Trainz35 he sure dose. he cant go over 82

  • @trainz675 That post made no sense...

  • THE ENGINEER CANT GO OVER 82 (eighty two) MILES PER HOUR. and yes he dose, engineer craig

  • @trainz675 To test you; what days does he run?

  • @Trainz35 Hmm, i know saturday 8, and i think monday? dik i know he runs here, always has a paper flyer waving lol.

  • @trainz675 Scott (his son) does better horn shows (to me anyway). And they both recognize me by my signature green hat.

  • damn slow and crap!

  • @feelfresh77 Please try to make sence next time

  • @trainz675 i just wanted to say that these train is fucking slow and the whole video is crap XD so wtf are u talkin "Pleaser try to make sence next time" ... omg

  • @feelfresh77 Whelp compared to Eurostar and TGV's these are very slow.

  • @YurukiKarasawa Considering that the entire TGV network is 1000 km less than Amtrak No. 8's route, that's not very impressive. Electrifying a single 3500+ km U.S. main rail line (and there are several) and upgrading for high speed would be practically impossible and economically unfeasable (especially if you consider that most of the land the train crosses has a tiny population density).

  • @feelfresh77 ummm, thanks for the free views jackass!

  • I Never see a passenger train anymore.

  • That was a LOT of horn.... awesome vid :)

  • You should see them blow by at the Piedmont Division in Spensor. I took my speeding gun and I clocked an Amtrak going 92 MPH and he was in a hurry!!

  • he was hauling a** like going lightning : D

  • Mechu nieźle bawił się trąbką!

  • Wow! That's one of the greatest spots of American passenger trains. Loud and long horn, square wheels and rails singing!

  • 183 just made my list on good units.

  • DAYUM!!! he sure was haullin ass... Excellent Video man!

  • Holy SH*T he was FLYING!!! Awesome video!

    Alex

  • ya it semmed a tad faster when i was seeing it.

  • i understand that

whenever I film AMTK, the camera fakes viewers into thinking the train is not going that fast when in reality its MOVIN!

btw thats sweet you caught P42 #1!!

  • your 100% correct. It looks likes its 1/2 the spped as in real life

  • @trainz675 IDK, seemed pretty fast to me. Looked like 85

  • i have a video of this thing going 95 about a mile away at a crossing. ehh, close to 80 this is, shook the ground enouh
