wow, are you getting better ??? and why do you have ur tail servo all the way back? im not sure the reason but it should be closer to the frame,, thanks
Well done, looks like minimal damage and the coat hangar was a really good idea. My training gear was made outta chop sticks I stole from a local chinese restaurant lol......
i couldn't have thought of a better training undercarriage than that :), i just need to save up to get a trex 450 cause my century hummingbird is knackered and you cant get the parts in the uk anymore, just have to satisfy myself with my hirobo lama till then :)
I was on vacation giving some flight lessons and had to come up some 'anti-roll' protection in a hurry. My brother managed to circumvent my creative efforts. The 'flight hanger' actually worked very well, considering it was not modified in any way.

You should consider a training gear that prevents from tipping forward too.

You will love the TREX 450. My only complaint, is the landing gear is weak but upgrades are available. Other than that, I love it and my TREX 600.
My hope is that ALIGN will offer more scale body kits and multi-rotor head systems for the 450, 500, and 600 in the near future.
You may also consider the TREX 500. It is stunning and should be released soon. Check it out!

you can get 3 bladed rotor heads on ebay, they may be aftermarket though, what made the heli pitch forward like that? inexpeirenced pilot? :)
vanepico 4 years ago
Yes. Inexperienced pilot caused the crash.
