More over, those stations are monitored and the news is changed to alter how the events are viewed by the citizens. I cannot stand watching those channels because they are extremely fake and don't show the whole truth. Ok, I whole-heartedly agree with Amy Goodman on this one. I don't understand why the police arrested reporters... It makes no sense to me. If they had an issue with the safety of the reporters, they could just instruct them to go to a safe location and be done with it. Not the case, they arrested them. It seems to me that Americans today don't want to hear the actual truth, they would be happier with the "truth" reported by the news groups like nbc and cbs.

If you have read the communist manifesto, you don't understand it. You say that socialism is a redistribution of wealth when it's actually a different definition of ownership (essentially). That's why I brought up books: your explanations of socialism are akin to the propaganda about socialism and not the actual theory. Not in favor of nationalized health care, for I am against the concept of nations. Not for federally controlled education, as I am against the federal government. Not in favor of the government taking over everything, for I am against the state.

Clearly, a democratic takeover of industry replaces the need for currency in a market. Secondly, what would be the purpose of people voting themselves money? In order to do that, it would have to be distributed evenly, and it would only cause inflation... it would be kind of pointless. Who counts the votes today? People who are employed to do so or computers. You can designate people to count votes without them being in charge... you make no sense at all.

Has it ever occurred to you that the natural result of Marxism is Stalinism? Marx was a fool that assumed he understood human nature. When I read his propaganda I just keep saying how could he not see the consequences of his policy?

Your only defense is to vaguely characterize me with undefinable terms such as "naive" and "maturity". You can't make a point, so you use propaganda, societal norms, and other meaningless garbage to substantiate your thoughtless opinions. I am not a Marxist. Secondly, the natural result of Marxism is certainly not Stalinism. Trotsky almost got in power, and was assassinated by Stalin. Your view doesn't take history in to consideration; it creates an absolute out of a complex situation.

But seriously, you're calling Marx a propagandist? He was the most scientific political philosopher of his time. He was far more objective than anyone else. Not only that, but he was highly original. This somehow translates to "propaganda" to you? Do you even realize what the words you're using mean? Marxist philosophy inspired various sorts of socialist states; what am I supposed to say to somebody with such limited knowledge? Your comparisons are made out of a junior high history education...

A desire to create new industry can be caused by: new technologies that replace old labor, new technologies that wish to be pursued, new industries that can help existing problems, etc. The desire can be satisfied with a vote. There would be no need for reward, as the community is investing, rather than individuals. You're using capitalist methods of investment to imagine what would happen in a completely different way of life... absurd.

People don't care about new technologies, capitalist do. People want security and liberty. Also keep in mind people are also much less concerned about your security then theirs. So new technologies into areas such as industrial safety would never get a vote.

There would be no money. The market is replaced by democratic institution, so there is no need for that sort of currency. Investment is nothing more than undertaking projects; if there is a lack of labor and a desire for more, then they put people to work. Industrial safety would definitely get a vote; you don't think workers care about that? That's directly in their self-interest! Why would apathetic people vote in a participatory system, anyways? Wouldn't only those with initiative vote?
