I am a cop. SGT NACIN- CSPD #7813. Think Befor you speek. And she did not go for his pistol. So its not at all the same. Yes she was not thinking when she hit him. And yes some jail time is needed. Everyone does realize that once the drunks are brought to county jail the real "cops beating your ass party" begins? The cops take you to a part of county jail without cameras and "defend themselves" from your attack. As an added bonus to some broken bones, you get one or two additional fellony charges. Not a smart idea to punch cops. Please don't respond to this post claiming your a tough guy, in county jail YOU WILL get an ass beating for hitting a cop.

I've never had an altercation with a police officer in my entire life and I'm always around them. so the ones that downgrade cops and view them as martial law is because you convicted something in the past and you got mad about it.
