Appreciate the intent of rescoring and it's a stellar scene from a kick-azz movie you've invested time in though one expects to see Wile E. Coyote or Elmer Fudd prancing by w/ the musical accents you've added. Guess that could be a whole new take on Kubrick though, huh...maybe the added music's an asset.

the way I interpret the film, is that jack is talking to himself in the mirror behind "lloyd", because he wouldn't be driven so insane if there were people would he? he is driven so far to insanity, that he is picturing people just so he can have some "company". In the bathroom scene "grady" says ''You are the caretaker, you have always been the caretaker, just like ive always been here", which i think implies that "grady" is sort of like jack's dark side, thats always been hiding underneath.
