There is nothing dangerous about c++, c++ is a language, nothing more, nothing less. The API's are the dangerous part, but even then, they are not all that dangerous. Stupidity is the danger, something most people seem to thrive on.
Thank You so much! setting up Direct X 10 SDK with VS2005 was soo difficult thank you for showing the only tutorial online that i could find on setting up on DX with VC++ -Mo ;)

Whats the difference between C++ and C#? Do they use the same codes?
Mathurankan 3 years ago
mathurankan,
mostly but there are slight differences, c++ is basically just an updated version of C#.

Thanks! :)

Well, that's not true.
C++ is an older language that's been used since 1979, it's based on the C language.
C# on is another language based on the C/C++ and Java languages and has been developed by Microsoft in 2000.
C++ is more flexible and gives a lot more power to the programmer than C#. But it's a lot more hard/dangerous to use for bad programmer :)
Most of the C# code will only works on Microsoft's platforms (with the exception of the part of the API handled by mono project).

Dangerous?
Fuck up in ASM and you can really kill your computer.
travelsonic 2 years ago
Well, you can fuck-up in _almost_ any real languages and kill the computer, ASM is just quicker and easier to do so :)
weirdfox 2 years ago
@travelsonic, Yes, it is dangerous.
See how many "professional developers" are here on YouTube..!
