  • The one world region where the Holocaust is being denied sytematically and thouroughly is the Muslim world.

The Holocaust is a fact and so is Jihad, but that is a different topic.

  • @ your last video:

the Holocaust is better documented than the war of annihilation waged by Germany (and 10 or so other nations) on the Soviet Union. Had Germany won the war they would have killed up to dozens of millions of Russians...

  • This comment of mine is just too blunt. Mentioning these numbers in an off-handed fashion seems cynical, but it isnt meant like that - i understand the bad ratings...

  • The reason Gary is a denier is that he doesn't know jack shit about the subject, and refuses to educate himself. I heard him refuse to read any books on the subject in stickam.

The term denier means that the person is not using historical evidence to prove their position, but is simply denying that events occured to the extent they did just because they want to deny it (for whatever reason).

His logic that he is only raising questions does not fit, bc he refused to read anything.

  • I'll send you a private PM with this...Btw there's lots of data out there...Firsthand testimony from survivors of the camps, and archives of concentration camp guards, etc. People who make claims that that this didn't happen often use dubious support from secondary sources...There are reasons to face the facts and they have nothing to do antisemitism. They have to do with repetition. One repetition that is still fairly recent is what happened to minority Muslim populations in Serbia, for example.

  • ....Sorry should have said:

One repetition that is what happened fairly recently to minority Serbian Muslims in Bosnia, for example.

My typing was quicker than my thought process again...

  • Wukdar, lots of textbooks and history books say A LOT about the toll that typhus took on camp victims...No one is denying that there were lots of victims of both starvation and disease in the camps. But to say that that must mean that there were therefore no gas chambers is very strange logic. I just don't understand, considering all the primary documentation to counter that claim, that you would make it here...Could you explain to me why? If I gave you bibliographical sources would you read it

  • Hey Stephen! Long time no see. I hope the family is doing well.

  • people who say you always defend gary are the ones who always attack him. i can guess who you are talking about there.

  • syphilis

  • sorry, small pox. wrong genocide.

  • Yup, I over reacted...I should write a book about this if I obsess about it so much and give the comments section of YT a break...Point taken...

  • Would you find it offensive if I offered you a hug?

  • Thanks, Lorlelia, for realizing that this matters to me for deep personal reasons, and when what happened is said to be just something that happens in war, I tend to have a visceral reaction. I know I shouldn't, but I do. My rational mind tells me that if I offer counter facts to the "that just war" argument, it brings out a lot of them and us talk...I just think that the reason we keep doing this to civilization populations is because we won't look at how the final solution was engineered not

  • ...just an unavoidable consequence of war...When we try to hide from that fact, it lets engineered abuse like those of Pol Pot and the atrocities happening this very minute in Zimbabwe to continue unopposed...

    I should make a video about this, I guess...But I won't.

  • It would be good if you did make a video about it, but I can understand why you'd rather not.

  • I used to react quite violently to people who denied the holocaust, since I have relations who were there and their whole lives profoundly and permanently impacted by it. These days it bothers me less, though it does make me scratch my head as to why they feel the need to do so. It's similar to many other avoidant or fear based reactions I think, deny it or explain it away then you don't have to feel horrified or have your gut wrenched at the thought of mans horrendous cruelty and stupidity.

  • So I can relate to your reaction, whatever its cause. But for myself I feel the art is to get people to open their minds to their own blindnesses and an emotional reaction tends to do the opposite. Of course I don't need to tell you that, you've expressed as much here.

  • Yes, that is exactly the point.

  • Wukdar, just a friendly question. Are you claiming that Typhus [an admitted horrible scourge during the Holocaust] was the REAL cause of the millions who died during that awful time? I'd be curious to know, because it seems like that's exactly the point you seem to be making...

About the Armenians...I'm not sure who feels that they have been forgotten...In my classes in high school we studied that atrocity twice, freshman year and briefly during a survey course in my senior year. If most...

  • ...people don't know about it, that may because it doesn't matter to educators...It isn't pleasant to remember these things...We could add what Pol Pot, Stalin et. al. did to their own people...To me, trying to explain away these things makes it easier for them to happen again...

From that perspective, refusing to look at any of the copious primary material for the gassing of men, women and children during the Holocaust is a prime example of this willful refusal to see the truth.

  • I admit to being one of those people who thought it was funny, and laughed despite that I would never have done it myself because it's crossing the line. Gary did post his own address on his own website, but that doesn't make it right.

Gary did say that the Germans did not systematically gas people. he asserts that the death camps were not death camps, that they were just prison camps, and that the Jews blew it out of proportion.

Although I agree, disagreeing with details doesn't = denial.

  • Haha, SacSaint, you're prolly one of my favorite characters on YouTube even though you don't make many videos and usually aren't involved (strictly peripheral commentary). I bet you're one of the nicest guys on this site. Thanks for sticking up for Gary all the time, he gets a lot of flack.

  • yes.

although inmendham said something that as angryislander put it "was a cunt hair close" to holocaust denial. And afterwards, as far as i can tell, he wasn't man enough to rectify it.
