If you apply something like a powder onto your face and it turns orange, it means it has oxidized on your face. It doesn't mean that it will happen to everyone, but it's just your body chemistry with the product that causes it to do that.

The reason the powder turned orange was because it oxidized. That's what happens when the air and the oils in your skin react with the powder and make it turn orange. Or, since the powder soaked up the oils in your skin, the oils turned the powder orange :)
