  • perfect! Thank you for combining these three!

  • i want this themes will be heard at my graduation of college and my funeral =')

  • why is everybody complaining about god

you just let the one who believes believe in HIM

an the people who don't not believe in HIM

there is no need for a attle between those two

  • Morons tend to have opinions over matters they know nothing about. No one knows there's evidence to whether God exists or not.

So shut up, and enjoy the music.

  • dear 5 people, 'ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED'

  • great movi n track

  • Way to ruin the amazing music with your religious shit, fuckclumps.

  • anybody know what language this is? or if its just chanting?

  • its a made up language of vocals

  • Obama with a bucket of watermelon.

  • The scene had nothing to do with the Christian God, Yahweh. It was about Zeus and his domain. It is a pagan song and a pagan movie.

  • I rub my nipples while listening to this.

  • It makes me laugh seeing people argue about science and religion! These people are so blind to even realise the fact that the human race will not be around long to even discover what is possibly out there. Why everyone can't get along with each other and just help each other learn what we can while we are here is beyond me. Grow up and stop acting like children, as if there isn't enough shit going down on our own planet to be wondering what's going on past our own clouds!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @danboi2k11 don't bother. as long as humans feel the need for and feel entitled to answers to questions they don't really need to ask, this will happen

  • I'm an atheist so for me this music has nothing to do with religion but it is still beautiful.

  • I'll prove it... starting with... how are you existent? ...what is your purpose...in life?... what happens when you die? ...where do you go?... how are you-...you?... ...

  • This song is.

Closest thing to GOD, that Mankind has ever Achieved!!!!!!!!

  • One of my favorite movie soundtracks (and movies) ever

  • What the fuck is going on !?

  • One day, when our last breath. God or not, whatever our religion. We will know our Elysium for our eternal rest.

  • omfg, why does everyone has to talk about religion, this is a MUSIC video, not a religious forum. Arguing about this is not worth anything, cause you people will never solve this dumb question about if god exists or not, this is just stupid.

  • @StrifeTriggerDude WIN!!!

  • I have watched this movie many times, and i cry ever time Maximus die at the end :'( This is the best movie EVER! Hans Zimmer is a great musician <3

  • Powerful, inspirational and soothing. Two words to survive hardships: Strength and Honor. These two words should be remembered more often in todays world.

  • 5 people are transsexual

  • Wow! Thank you for the video. this is the song that i was looking for since then!

  • Wow...all I wanted to do was listen to the gladiator soundtrack andmaybe see some feedback of the movie in the comments but all I see is some philosophical arguement about God...I'm not even going to ask how it started, or why it's still going...

  • @nicky1811 its going on because anytime someone brings up god or religion...violence is soon to follow

  • god is a belief and everyone believes differently

  • why can't people keep their opinions to themselves? does it really matter what someone else believes in?

  • i love how people say there is no God. how are we here who made us are we robots where do you go when you pass people say there is not god need to pick up a bible once in a while then you will see there is a god

  • Gladiator and Braveheart are best film ever made, which not have a sequal!!

  • love this song beautiful!!!!!!

  • I could listen to this all day if only I had snacks, a Facebook, and some super cool slo-mo choreographers........ sadly, life isn't fair :(

  • Comment removed

  • @bobfari Srsly... people need to stop getting so butthurt. I believe he's real but you don't need to go tell people to go die in a ditch if they also do and don't believe it. I came here to listen to Gladiator music not listen to idiots argue. What is this world coming to -.-

  • Come on guys stop fighting, I know for a fact that God isn't real, he told me so personally.

  • Maximus Decimus Meridius is THE most powerful fictional soldier in the film history

  • God isnt real period. done zip nadda. lets progress into the future not stop and wait to burn our selves into piles of meat, religion is for the ignorant humans before us to "regulate" control along time ago. it is wasteful concept now, hope is found in far more profound ways. progress not dwell.

  • @zxdish said "God isnt real period."

and you have all the knowledge in the universe to back up this claim? No. You don't even have 1% of the knowledge in our solar system. Therefore, you don't know wether God exists or not.

  • @drawfire25 Funny fact you cant prove that god exists too :D

  • @Edgarssprogis That's why it's called faith :-)

  • @drawfire25 faith is like jumping off a clif and hoping you will be rescued by someone. I aint jumping.

  • @Edgarssprogis With all due respect, you contradict yourself with your hypocatastasis, because in reality, your skepticism is actually the beginning of faith.

  • @drawfire25 "Why is it whenever someone says "with all due respect", they really mean "kiss my ass"? "

  • @Edgarssprogis Religion is like a penis. If you have one be proud you have it but don't shove it down people's throats. Same with atheism.

  • @Lorddavian0 Now would you all kindly stfu and listen to the music?

  • @drawfire25 nothing is true everything is permitted

  • @drawfire25 He doesn't. Good.

  • @drawfire25

One doesn't have to know that God doesn't exist in order to recognize that the whole concept of a creator god is rather ridiculous.

  • @drawfire25 Depends what you mean by "god". The only theory that has been fully proved is amazing! It has something to do with the words, The only thing I know is that my human brain cannot possibly conceive the laws of the universe's or dimensions. In short "I do not know".

  • @drawfire25 This is youtube. Most people commenting are probably frustrated teens. I wouldnt take anything too seriously.

  • @drawfire25 ...well said sir....

  • @drawfire25

    God is a FAITH

and we do not have the right to say if he is exists or not.

THAT IS NOT AN OPINION,THAT IS THE whole RIGHT.

  • @zxdish A while ago I was praying to GOD that my best friend will accept my apology. Guess what? She did. That prayer was answered by GOD which proves it all that He exist. Now, I would like you to reconsider your opinion because if you really think that religion is for the ignorant, you're also saying that GOD is ignorant. Its better to keep your mouth shut if you aren't going to say anything that is good.

  • @creepyboomer Your beloved GOD is ignorant and selfish. We all have to love him or we'll suffer for all eternity? Tell one lie and you'll burn for all eternity too? There's not a single person who has never lied throughout his entire life, so we'll all end up in Hell.

And your friend accepted your apology because she cares about you and not about your GOD. He didn't talk to her or anything, she just wanted to be friends with you again. And that is what happened. So you should think before saying

  • @Bismark3009 He's real, and there is a devil inside of all of us.

We must not love just God, but what stands for good. Our "sins" are forgiven at any moment in time, we just have to ask and acknowledge what we did was wrong.

Not everyone must just believe in God, but those who do, know exactly what is good and what is bad, and there are not lost in this crazy ass world.

There is much more to the Bible than you think, God Bless.

  • @jiujitsufighter123 I know what is good, what is bad and I'm not lost in this "crazy ass world" or as I prefer to call it this mind blowing, infinitely impressive beautiful planet. I don't believe in god, what does that mean then?

  • @Bismark3009 You never believed in our beliefs because you've never let yourself have a chance to believe.God isn't a selfish god. WE are the selfish ones. Why do you think would people lie? Did God ordered the liar to lie? No. That lie came from our minds, not from God. Sin came from man.

Me and my friend are both believers to God that's why we can forgive. Becoming a believer of God is believing that you are forgiven by God and that you can also forgive those who hurt you.

  • @creepyboomer unconditional, and everlasting love.

  • @creepyboomer stuff like that. There's no proof that GOD is real. There's no proof for anything in the Bible and it's all a load of crap. Now grow up and realise Jesus is like Santa. None of them are real.

  • @zxdish

The laws of the bible define morality for what it should be. Without it who would know what is good, or bad? Say what you will about the bible, but we still live it everyday for it is part of our Country's history which our laws are based on.

The day everyone starts to have the mentality you have is the day when the world is lost. It's funny, people ask for evidence of the Bible's "existence" yet the Bible was 2000 years ahead of it's time and predicted many events.

  • @jiujitsufighter123 You know, the Bible isn't the only source of moral lessons. Pick up any Greek or pre-Christian Roman philosophy book and you'll find countless lessons on morality. Yeah, the Bible says "don't kill people" and "don't steal your neighbor's wife," but those are universal lessons that have been taught in countless cultures long before Christianity became popular. Believe it or not, people had conciseness before Jesus told them all how to behave.

  • Amazing Absolutely amazing

  • Wtf Why is here a religous discussion. its Gladiator SOUNDRACk, GTFO! I just wanted to read comments about the music and feelings it brings to differnet people. Me about "god" I dont ask him anything and he doesnt ask me anything, all is fine.

  • 5 dislikes...HOW CAN YOU EVER DISLIKE THIS?!

  • @JohnnyJaxmusic true mate, true...pretty sad..

  • Comment removed

  • @JohnnyJaxmusic Yeah!? Why on earth would you make the choice to dislike it. What's there even to dislike about the soundtrack to Gladiator...? WTF

  • Such an epic piece of music

  • @WiltheLiam768 This is long overdue... But thank you for making this video... It allowed for my comment and all those replies that meant so much to me... I appreciate you for that...

    So (((~{ THANK YOU }~))) meh . . .

  • I think i'ma play this through my Xbox when i sit down to play Skyrim from now on, @least if i die in the game, I won't be annoyed to sit through the intermission screens; i'll just have better motivation to dominate. LoL

  • This is so marvelous, & it has me bouncing up & down around 5:55 .. it just builds in a slow but epic anticipation . it has a very melancholic feel, but passion driving it. like the true mournful sounds of a soul-convicted man trying to reclaim honor & to be with his beloved ones again. just amazing what the human mind can conjure ...

  • I wish i can here this song in my final moments be4 i go to meet my maker....

  • @robynloveswelshie i agree, either that or the main theme for "Cast Away" , either would sit well with me.

  • Well composed video sir. Great film, I really love these tracks. :)

  • the 4 people who didnt like this can go fuck themselves

  • @rainbomb27 And those after

  • @rainbomb27 LOL...yeap

  • " Honor Him ! '

    +Honor Miximus ! ♥

  • <3.!

  • There is actually 2 some place else's...Heaven or Hell. Choose Christ and live.

  • @misthotos I find it ironic that you're preaching a monotheistic religion on a video that's based off of a time period and Empire that, at this time, were polytheistic.

Their concepts of heaven, hell, and everything between were quite different.

  • @SpartadDei That's a fail on your part. it's not relevant to mention monotheistic religions with this movie. it's based in Rome, where Christians (just for reference) suffered to practice their own belief, as well it became accepted due to one of their own emperors. & as for them not being similar, your wrong there. I'm writing a novel that fully explains this, all polytheistic religions begin the same as any monotheistic religion with one being and a vast emptiness called the chaos.

  • @WhoIsJesus2K Erm, I was saying it wasn't relevant/an irony to mention monotheistic religion.. which is what misthotos was doing.

I was saying "at this time" to reinforce that this was before Romans accepted the Christian faith as well.

Also, it's interesting you mention that- I've had similar thoughts of writing subjects on the similarities of monotheistic and polytheistic faiths. However, on a youtube comment, I was rather being to the point that they aren't envisioned quiteso

  • @SpartaeDei Ironic perhaps, but intentional. I have a heart for those who have been deceived, so I spread the truth when given the opportunity.

  • @misthotos Erm.. but you're preaching to orchestration representing an age that's been dead for times long gone.. They aren't around to hear your "truth", mate. And unfortunately, I don't think this is the right crowd to spread a religious view here.. the movie's not about religion, it's about honor, sacrifice, and hubris in a most basic examination.

  • @SpartaeDei Jesus said, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 This space here is part of "all the world". I will obey God, and not man. Sorry that you are offended though....

  • @misthotos brilliant, now how about you preach at the bottom of a hole, and take anyone else who believes that everyone else is just sitting there waiting to be "enlightened" by you. I'm not the only one who doesn't care what Jesus is supposed to have said, or where it came in the bible. is there nowhere that we can just live our lives without the annoyance of people preaching in our faces?

  • @BorderlineBaguette Actually, I share the good news of Jesus Christ with people just like you so you DON'T have to go down into the pit. My hope is that if you don't listen to me, that someone else is able to reach you.

  • @misthotos your "good news" is a bit old, mate. If I wanted to believe that a magic man 2000 years ago was the son of himself, I would already be believing it. people don't need to be told about it all the time. you missionary types are the real life equivalent of spam mail!

before this goes any further, I want to stress my stance, I have nothing against religion, and unlike you,I don't care what others believe. I am just against preaching.

  • @BorderlineBaguette That "magic man" who you insult, is your Creator and Sustainer. A little humility would be in order here. Perhaps you do not have anything against the idea of religion, as long as you are not told you are going to be held accountable for your sins. My speaking to you about your need of the Savior, is, at the end of the day, an act of love. You need to repent before Christ and ask his forgiveness, and accept Him as Lord...I'll pray for you.

  • @misthotos funnily enough, no other religion describes him as the creator or sustainer, so he's either doing a rubbish job at telling everyone that he created them, or he doesn't care if people know he did it or not. If he wanted people to follow him, he'd need a better argument than 2000 years of hear-say and a couple of loud-mouths like you.

and whilst we're on the subject of humility, I recommend that you look at yourself, getting all high and mighty because you believe in a book.

  • @BorderlineBaguette High and mighty? I'm sorry you think that, it was not my intent. Do you honestly believe that false religions spawned by Satan are going to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God? Hardly. Look, everyone sins. God punishes sin by sending unrepentant sinners to Hell...forever... when they die. The Eternal God Himself became a man so that he could pay the penalty of death. All who trust in Christ have that payment applied to them. Christ said who he was.

  • @misthotos Interesting. I always wondered if you fanatical types were hypocritical enough to not realise that you are just as bad as those that follow "false religions spawned by Satan". I realise now that you are. I guess hypocrisy is the primordial sin, but I don't think misrepresenting the words of a bearded man is going to help you stop you sinning. all I ask of you is to realise you aren't better than me, so that you can stop preaching to my face, and reflect on your own sins.

  • @BorderlineBaguette I'll ignore the name calling....it really serves no purpose in an intelligent conversation. I have examined my own sins and have concluded that I deserve for God to send me to Hell. But, I've also examined His offer of pardon through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and took Him up on it. No, I don't consider myself any better than you, but we are headed in opposite directions. There is still time my friend, won't you accept God's gracious offer?

  • @misthotos I'll grant you that you have been thinking a long time about your own sins. kudos to you. as for the name calling, I prefer to call it pigeon-holing, but that's my opinion.you could call me atheist. I don't view myself as that, but others probably do. but back to the opinions, you believe that you'll go to a good place when you die, and that others that don't think the same as you, won't. you don't know, you believe. and you can't really ever know, so why act like you do?

  • @misthotos you know whats my savoir? Dancing.

  • @Edgarssprogis Really? And dancing is going to pay the penalty for your sins? I think not.

  • @misthotos Yes through dancing I have made discoverys about the human mind and body. Through dancing people express theyr most basic feelings in beautiful composition of music. This is what saves me in every day life. All the bad or good things you just charge out on the s t a g e. I have been to numerous international festivals, and I have seen the true face of humanity,

  • @Edgarssprogis Kam bij vārdi, man bij vārdi, man pašāmi stipri vārdi. Daugaviņu no turēju mietu dūru vidiņāi. As for me, I born in chritian state, but our people still belive i nthe power of nature and the close relation of Pērkoņdievs, Māra, Jumis, Ūsiņš and others. We are the one you might call "Pagans" :D Its a verbal legacy

  • @misthotos and ofcourse the different religous views of different people parts of the world. The only philosofies or "religions" I think are worth 'the trouble' is Hinduism and Buddhism.

  • @misthotos as for "sin" we human: Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh we are insinifigent so as our thought about god and all that. Its irrevelent. We can think of what we can to orginize our behavoir. I believe in life. And no book is gonna be the ultime truth about world. When alot of things through history have been proved wrong being in the book. Oh and. how exactly I would be paying for my "sins"? :D With a Soul Debate Card? Christian Express? :D

  • @Edgarssprogis Thought about God is irrelivant?? Hardly. Almost all...if not all...cultures throughout mankind's history has believed in some kind od "god" or "gods", and ordered their lives accordingly. You believe in life but not the Giver of it...that doesn't make sense. And when the Giver of life writes a book about it, you can, rest assured, count on it's accuracy. Your sins can be paid for in 1 of 2 ways. Either you accept Christ as Lord, or you pay for them yourself in Hell

  • @misthotos I wount go to hell I will go to Sovengard or Valinor :D

  • @misthotos Which giver of life? Which book?

  • @jooziejacuzi To both questions the answer is that there is only One. But to be specific, Jesus Christ and the Bible.

  • @Edgarssprogis well stated thank you for having knowledge truthfully..

  • Steve jobs? WTF? people come on to Youtube, search "Gladiator soundtrack" , and comment about Steve Jobs. whoooooooooooo! no one gives a damn about your condolences on a video that has nothing to do with Steve Jobs or Apple. Please people, stop commenting retarded things that don't help mankind. You are all a waste of space.

  • @frodar13 Chill friend, the song Elysium simply reminds them that Jobs might now be living in a place where happiness and peace are at abundance, thus relieving their pain. Hmm... bringing hope , joy and love to mankind, that's what music for right? Their condolences have just proved how successful are Elysium and Now we are free as masterpieces . Btw, no offence. =)

  • @mentolfreekyai alright. thank you for saying that in the nicest way.

  • FOR FRODO !!!

  • Beautiful song to meditate upon. Peace and love.

I love you so much, il see you in elysium soon enough <3

  • What we do in life echoes in eternity...

  • @MyTalons My dad alwasy quotes that scene lol :D

  • @MyTalons Beautifully said.

  • What we do in life, echoes for eternity...epic film

  • Beautiful, yet heartbreaking song.

  • This is so great to listen to before going to bed each night. Puts ya to sleep like a baby :-)

  • Now I must watch this movie again.

There was a time in my life when I watched it at least three times a week.

That time lasted almost a year.

It has been far too long, old friend.

    Strength and honor.
