McCain, as a veteran himself, should be ashamed for the horrible voting record regarding veteran benefits. Despite all the chances he has to increase their benefits he chooses against, if he even shows up to vote at all. Shameful. And as a torture victim himself, he ignores our use of torture. Shameful. For all his finger-pointing at Obama and accusing Obama of not being as "American" as he is, he is apparantly hoping people overlook his hypocrisy and repeated disrespect of veterans.
How about McCains 20% Voting Record by the Disabled Veterans of America? While Barack Obama Co-authored the larget increase in funding to the VA init's history. How about the New GI Bill that McCain won't sign - McCains support of Veterans is a shill - I am an Iraq Vet, and I won't vote for McCain. Oh yeah, I almost forgort that he voted against the reccomendation of the Sec. Army reccomendation to ban waterboarding. Yeah, he is a "real" patriot. I bet he wears a flag pin too.
Exactly. Somehow repeatedly choosing to vote against helping veterans if you show up at all to vote is okay... just as long as you wear your little American flag pin. Cause stupid people don't bother to listen, they just see the little pin and think, wow he must love America!
You do some good work, with the computer graphics and all, however ... I am still quite perplexed by this almost cult-like obsession with barack Obama. It remains unclear to me why people would vote for such a typical old partisan politician instead of a seasoned, intelligent, straight-talking, bipartisan, hardworking statesman, who also happens to be a war hero. Any ideas?
*sigh* More hate from the left. Well, at least you took the time to reply to my comment. I appreciate that.
By the way, being captured is not what made John McCain a hero. Putting his life on the line to fight for his country makes him a hero. Refusing to accept an early release from his prison cell makes him a hero. STAYING IN THE NAVY for NINE YEARS after he returned from that hellhole when he could have just retired and lived off his rich wife makes him a hero.

Senator Obama finally resolves the nagging question as to whether or not he is authentically black.

Because John McCain is a crazy old war-monger whose heroism consists of getting captured.

The baby is actually a boy, my son Lucas. He's very forward thinking, however, and never takes offense when people mistake his gender.
He started calling Obama "HOPE" without any coaching. He loves to watch me while I work and I'm sure it's from my other piece, Obama-Hope.
However he picked it up, it's unbelievably adorable and I had to find a way to include it.
