When injunry free is great, hes a big game pitcher, and a strike out artist. And besides, if everyone in the NY rotation is going on all cylinders, he becomes a number 3 guy. I believe 100% that Halladay will re-sign with the Jays in the offseason. Our team is finally coming together both pitching-wise (Injuries have slowed down our pitching thus far this year (read:) Marcum, McGowan, Romero, Litsch, etc)) and hitting wise. The '93 Blue Jays were one of the most balanced teams ever combining power, speed, & high average hitters. Four players had over 20 steals, four had over 90 rbi, and 5 scored over 90. The '93 Blue Jays are the only team after 1900 to have 3 hitters from the same team finish 1-2-3 in the AL batting race. Olerud, Molitor, Alomar. The starting pitching was more than adequate with Guzman, Stewart, & Hentgen, & the bullpen had Duane Ward's 45 saves & swingmen Cox & Leiter who could start or relieve.

I believe 100% that Halladay will re-sign with the Jays in the offseason. Our team is finally coming together both pitching-wise (Injuries have slowed down our pitching thus far this year (read:) Marcum, McGowan, Romero, Litsch, etc)) and hitting wise. Hitting has been the major downfall in the last few years, since the rotation and bullpen have been close to tops in the majors. LOL this comment will continue into the next responce

Without a dobt Lind and Snider and Hill are going to be a potent linup in the future. But guys like Rolen, Barajas, and scutaro are not going to be apart of it if it doesnt happen this year. Those were such great years to live in Toronto 1991-93. The city was buzzing,all its sport teams were doing great. Argos won the Grey Cup in 1991, Jays World Series champions 92-93 and the Maple Leafs were one game away from going to the Stanley Cup Finals in May of 1993.
