  • why dont you use a cold press method ?

  • Hey, Guys what happened... you have stopped posting on the 30 Day Challenge. I am based in the UK and just started the challenge yesterday. I would love to know how you both got on and the benefits you found.. Cheers

  • Love your work! Looks so lush n creamy. I'm going to have one of these for lunch in about an hour :o)

(Love the Fairy-wren and Brown Honeyeater soundscape in the garden too)

  • Really enjoy the valuable information. Can't get enough of that. Thanks

  • i have seen those plants for the first time at a local grocery; didnt buy it cuz i was afraid it wud go to waste....(didnt know what it wud taste like); but willing to try it sometime. :)

  • Great video from beautiful OZ! Love to you folks and Season's Greetings from Canada!

  • Thank you.... Many blessings to you :)

  • Great to see some Aussie raw food vids. I own the Sunbeam blender (PB9600) and it smashes everything I've put in it so far - cost $260 at Harvey Norman - best value unit I've ever owned.

  • Awesome! Thanks for the info :) I'd say it's fantastic value, considering it does almost the same job as a vita-prep, which retails for about $1300 AUD now!

  • hey! can i ask are you still doing 80 10 10 diet? cause i am trying to start.

  • @spekgirl1 What is a 80 10 10 diet?

  • @myfavgeets its the raw low fat vegan mostly fruit from Dr. doug graham have you not herd of it from 30day bananas?

  • Hello :) No, I'm not following 80/10/10 at the moment but it is a good time (being summer) to experiment. For me it is something I do periodically now - like if I know I have to be really active I will cut down on all fats and eat lots of fruit for energy. But I've never done it for more than 2 month straight.

  • xxxxxxx

  • :-)

  • I miss my garden, great video.

  • That chard looks so green, you have a nice garden, and that smoothie must have been delicious.

  • So much for "taking footage every day", what about sharing the highs and lows as promised?

  • I know, my apologies :( Rachelle had something rather unexpected happen and had to leave Perth which caused a bit of chaos. I'm going to do a vid soon to explain... I can hopefully get Shell on to tell the story. It's actually really funny, but totally not my place to say :) Again, apologies.

  • can you tell me which are the vegetables ypu show at the begining?. I don't know them cause they're not around here.

  • Rainbow chard :-) Also called swiss chard.

  • gracias.

  • organich raw vegan farmer. Cool!

  • yei!! amazing!!

  • wow loved this video Therese ~ as always you rawk!!!

  • Isnt kiwi an acid fruit that should not be combined with a sweet fruit like banana?

  • Yes kiwi's are an acid fruit. If you want to do strict food combining then keep them separate. I find that kiwi's don't cause a problem for me. But I don't mix banana's and citrus as that does take me much longer to digest.

  • hey there, loving it as always! just wondering, where did he learn all his knowledge about what plants contain what nutrients, etc? Amazing info!

  • Fantastic, glad you like it :) He is always in the garden growing stuff and reading up on plants... It's his thing! He has converted his whole garden into food producing plants... I'll do a post from his garden and get him to talk about where he sourced a lot of the info :)

  • yay, that would be awesome! Shhh, I've just ordered nutrition for dummies, hehe;). but would love to know the exact macro and micro nutrient contents of specific foods like your man Z does! soooo coool:)

  • very good video ...thanks

  • wow, thats the most beautiful rainbow chard i've ever seen, so deep and rich, thanks 4 sharing Therese! many blessings to you guys .:.

  • Hi, I've been following your raw food diet for some time and am interested in giving it a go. Problem is I would be looking for a high protien diet and understand that fruits and vegetables are low in this. What I was wondering is you could tell me what sources of high protien there are that are relatively easy to come across and prepare. For example, is milk or soy milk raw food? What about oats? Also, can you direct me to a link of a list of raw foods. Thanks, Will :-)

  • Fruit and Veg is full of protein! A gorilla is one of the most muscled and powerful animals on the planet... What do you think they eat? The darker the greens you can get (best to grow your own) the more chlorophyll you'll get and also more free form amino acids... The body knows exactly what to do with it :) Sunflower seeds are awesome, especially sprouted. But if you are worried and want a supplement to start with I recommend Sun Warrior Protein - It's great!

  • Thanks

  • if I don't juice my veggies I have to cook them (steam or boil in soup) or else I cannot eat them in large quantities. I'm always told that cooking certain vegetables, like cruciferous ones, make absorption easier and more available. Plus, steamed kale tastes so much better! I am around 75% raw so I have no problem with some cooked veggies. What is your take on this?

  • Sounds good to me :) I think if you are conscious of how you are eating and it is working for you and you are getting the results you want, then continue to follow your intuition and what feels right. At some point you may feel a natural desire to increase the % of raw foods, which would be the right time to do it. Follow the body, listen to what it tells you. Nature knows things we can only hypothesis about :-)

  • If you want to eat a raw food lowcarb diet with high protein and high fat, you can eat all the green leafy vegetables you like, also cucumber, avocado, olive, fish, mayonnaise and yogurt made of raw milk.

    Butter, coconut oil, olive oil.

    Nuts, sesame seeds.

I'm currently eating lowcarb with lots of raw greens, baked eggwhite with raw eggyolks, raw or cooked fish, some pasteurized yogurt, lots of pasteurized butter and lots of homemade raw mayonnaise.

    Roasted peanuts.

    Cucumber and radish.

  • Listen to the birds chirping!! That looks like such a beautiful day. I want to juice those green bad boys!

  • nice!
