Speaking about Patrick Swayze's career movie critics only give a credit to Dirty Dancing, Ghost and Point Break ( in most case) but I don't agree - he had many other great films and Road House is one of them. It was really memorable film of late 80's and Patrick did a wonderful job. 1989 was full of underrated films - this one, Lock Up (with S.Stallone), The Punisher (with D.Lungren), True Blood (with Sherilyn Fenn) etc

That was really well done. Once the tone changed and you started to take it seriously it was fing awesome. Great job. I love this movie but that trailer made me love even more!

That was awesome, professional quality. The only, and I do mean ONLY, thing that rubbed me wrong (besides my ex wife) was the use of the word "Beer Baron". The last cut with the thrown bottle was about a second too late, but otherwise great. I have been looking to buy a DVD copy of this movie everywhere in Las Vegas that I have access to and haven't been able to yet.

what was the editing process like?

Basically our professor ripped the whole movie for us and I just went through it and picked out bits and lines that I thought would make for good trailer material. When I had a bin with all those clips made in FCP, I wrote out my voice-over and set up the clips to reflect that. After that it was just some fine tuning and it was done. Thanks for watching!
