Just compare, for example, El albaicin de Alicia, or even Esteban Sanchez, with Orozco's interpretation... there is a world of difference! If you can't grasp it, that's another matter... But please: don't be angry at my comment: I'm a great admirer of Spanish music! We are both (you and me) in search of beauty, aren't we?...
Esteban's interpretations of Albéniz are yet to be bettered in my opinion. Not larricha , not Orozco ... i think Esteban excels when it comes to Albéniz, he is just obn a different level.
Barenboim said Esteban Sánchez's recording of Iberia was the ultimate, and that after that, little coudl be added - that s why he (Barenboim) would never record it again

Por lo demás pienso que Albéniz estaría muy orgulloso de la interpretación del Maestro Esteban Sánchez.
Es una pena que no se le considerara en vida como merecía.
