@vaguelyhumanoid Corporate interests contain OUR interests. Corporations work for us, they serve us so in answer to your question, no I don't think it's problematic. Having if you're refering to corpratism, then yes it is a problem.
And big business as we know it would not exist without the state. Through subsidies, artificial scarcity, limited liability and corporate personhood, large businesses are privileged over smaller ones and hierarchical firms are privileged over coops, etc. A free market would radically differ from any historical form of capitalism.
I completely agree. The state completely got rid off the profit/loss system when they bailed out the banks in the UK. From a free market to exist in the first place, it needs to be free of govt.

thanks man, I wish it'd get more views too! and I'd definitely appreciate it if ya grabbed the 'embed' code for the vid and re-posted it to help it spread...
WHAT A BUSINESS ! you can rip of the poor make billions of dollars and keep the cash then when you go to far and go bust the government gives you public money so you can keep exploiting the public some more
i feel this alot and im sure alot of others do aswell but surely capitalism is more a mindset than a political system i think to change the system of capitalism the mindset needs to be changed first and i cant see that happening people want things and thats the way people have always been. although most people believe in equality when it comes out of their pocket their not so happy. but shout outs for doing something about it

@fragitza They don't mean literally the capital goods themselves. They mean the wealthy, ie the holders of capital. It's a metonym.

@vaguelyhumanoid That still makes no difference.

@fragitza You don't think corporate interests are problematic in our society?

@fragitza You mean corporatocracy.

@vaguelyhumanoid or crony capitalism.
I completely agree. The state completely got rid off the profit/loss system when they bailed out the banks in the UK. From a free market to exist in the first place, it needs to be free of govt.

@fragitza And when it is free of govt, firms will be far smaller, more numerous, and less hierarchical. It won't be very capitalistic at all.

I dont think they should bailout business or the public. It's not the government's job to be bailing people out. Bush and Obama are crooks.
