Well to answer why it is so disliked: it's a matter f taste right?

To me this was the worst. Why do we care about the graphics? because the graphics made it feel less.. 'monkey' :)

To me it was an obvious rush to 3D..

Not to mention that the story is forgettable, i had to come watch the videos to remember what the game was about

But tales of monkey island.. now we're talking of good 3d ;)

That's "punctuation" and "Monkey Island", you also need a comma after the title. There should also be no comma before "unlike you" and there should be one after it. You sure do love run-on sentences for someone who claims to "clearly speak it better" than I.

I really hated this ending. So anticlimatic. I am happy that they fixed everything in Tales of Monkey Island though. This is without doubt the worst part in the series, but overall, still ok.

everyone i understand u like the previous three games but if u think about it when ps2 came out they obviously wanted to do something different to take advanatgae of the PS2's release so making it 3d wud be an easy way to go for them but i do agree monkey island 3 is my fave out of all of the games

Monkey Island 2 was the best....number 1 and 3 are equaly good. This one was a good try, but the game play sucked, actions were too slow - you had to wait for guybrush to walk to a door, then open it, then walk out, then close, etc- and the puzzles were almost imposible to finish

Actually I would not mind playing as Guy brush's son, and Elaine in the next game. I love monkey island, but I can see fresh material, and more interest in some sort of faithful , inspiring , and worth while spoof.

their is, pause at 2:20 and you see his statue form flying towards the screen, its REALLY hard to see in this and much easier to see in the game, but his full statue DID survive just got blown away

I hope that LucasArts will realize how successful Monkey Island was and how it can be again. Even if they do not want to develop the series themselves, they can always do what they did with Sam and Max and get someone else to develop it. Please LucasArts, we want more!
