The "missing" statement about ET presence is still online in its earliest English form ("BAS official: Aliens are among us," Sofia Echo). You fail to mention the alien "presence" was a channeller named Vezneva, who Filipov claims specializes in symbols. That would be consistent with studying crop circles for the answers. Also, no other scientists at the meeting made statements, even before someone "got" to Filipov.

The point is what happened to Filipov, and how it happened, after he went public is the only point of the story. I was not selective with the facts other than I focused on what happened to FIlipov and how it happened. If you want to talk about selective, selecting to focus on crop circles is also selective.
