  • My left ear enjoyed this...

  • Is this another trailer to the Gotham Imposters?

  • Did I just see Fanboy in the crowd?

Good to know that he does have a purpose after being last seen in the Warner Bros. trademark since 1997.

  • Peewee herman!

  • Oh god, is that BatMario?

    All the villains are screwed.

  • There's a Christian Bale Batman costume in the audience at the beginning.

  • Was that Calendar Man?

  • Wait wait wait wait, did I just see BatMario?

  • meh

  • seeing all those batman nerds makes me feel at home

  • Paul Dini as Harley Quinn... can't unsee D:

  • calendar man

  • i friggin' love batmite. is he in teh show? i've not seen many episodes.

i'm gonna show this video to anyone who disses teh show. =0)

  • i wish that watermark wasn't in the corner

  • It looks like the creators of this series are aware of TAS fanboys! XD

  • @Ultramanmattia1

    So true xDDD

  • not gonna lie

    those bunnies did look freaky

  • the guy that raised his hand acts like a troll =)

  • I admit. I would love an official batarang signed by Batman with his official Bat-Pen.

  • LOL @ Bruce Timm Joker and Paul Dini Harley.

  • I was at the panel talk at Comic-Con when they revealed this show, and the similarity to that here is uncanny.

  • paul reubens.

  • did anyone catch the darknight batman in the beginning?????

  • i miss the 90s batman where he was dark

  • The complaining batman fan talks like my buddy. :)

  • Did he smile at 1:56??

  • 0:53

Nerd as Harlequin = reference to Batman the Animated Series

  • lol, that was a really nice way say that batman is a whore XD

  • I love that Bat-Mite is just the most giant rip off in history. Even that character himself is pretty much the green dood from the Flintstones/Jetsons.

  • @tarrker What about Lobo?

  • @ReneeMontoya12 What's Lobo? I mean, besides wolf in Spanish :P

  • @tarrker Lobo is an intergalatic bounty hunter. He kinda acts like Duke Nukem, though he looks like an obsessed KISS fan.

  • @tarrker Actually, he bears far more resemblence to Mister Mxyzptlk, a superman villan who debut in 1944. Almost twenty years before Flinstones ever aired.

He also appears in Superman: The animated series if you wanna see him in action. I think youll see Kazoo isent as original as you think.

  • @LordManda2 didn't know he went that far, I thought The Great Kazoo came first. All this time I thought Mxyzplik was inspired from the Great Kazoo..lol

  • @tarrker Actually, he is the Batman version of the imp who bothered Superman, though Batmite is an obsessed fan of Batman while Superman's imp is an annoying pest who wants to beat the Man of Steel.

  • @tarrker He's actually the Batman knock-off of Mr Mxyzsptlk.

  • if Bat-Mite wants to see cool Batman fights, then why does he come up with Calender Man and Killer Moth?

  • Hey thats Paul Reubens!

    I KNEW HE SOUNDED FAMILIAR!

(in other words its Pee Wee Herman :)))

  • Bruce Timm Meh....Damn I love these in jokes.

  • was very badly released, being after the dark knight. i wasn't ready for a campy batman yet

  • Kevin Smith Cameo all the way @ the beginning.

  • batman just gave a little fanboy a signed weapon..... hmmm isn't he always talking about safty?

  • Love the baby cosplaying as Batman at 0:02.

  • hey wait a second, at the comic-con there was a guy dressed up in the dark knight batman suit

  • what makes me sad is that the dress up that fat person standing next to joker in the actual harley quinn out fit but when it comes to harley quinn in this series she looks black and white and from the 50s /sigh

  • @Worgenninja Did you somehow miss the episode from the '90s Batman cartoon when Joker became rich, had Harley Quinn try-outs, and he rejects that same fat guy in the Harley Quinn suit?

Besides, that Joker and Harley are caricatures of Paul Dini and Bruce Timm.

  • @Sprocketman yep never got to see that episode

  • Further unnecessarily explaining the joke...Paul Dini and Bruce Timm are the creators of the previous animated batman series(es)-The DCAU. Their creator cameo doubles as something of a mythology gag!

  • was that dean venture at the beggining .... "i am the bat"

  • My god guys, if you think this show isn't dark and gritty watch the episode where Bat Mite accidently gives the joker his powers.

  • Damn! Official Batarang and it's signed!!

  • Wow, I can't believe they had Bluntman in there! Super duper like!

  • at 0:53 is that supposed to be the Fat Guy Harley from the "Joker's Millions" episode? *LMAO*

  • @knytrydr73 That's supposed to be Paul Dini himself, complete with a Jokerized Bruce Timm.

  • @CsBTransition

Didn't Paul Dini write this episode???

  • @knytrydr73 Is one of the creators of the animated series from the 90's.

  • Meh.

  • I love the use of the word "meh" that is precisely how those people (of which I am an occaisional one) talk.

  • I'll give you an official Batarang...and I'll sign it

  • fuck me this is funny. I love BMB&TB

  • an offical batarang and ill sign it damn

  • back then bat-mite was just stupid. back then batman packed a gun. My dad says that bat-mite is just horse-shit!!

  • @00bones52 LOL

  • I'll give this show some credit BatMite looks and sounds a lot better then he did in the 70s cartoon and they at least used his look from the silver age comic books he was in. I'll also give them credit for improving the BatMite Character he's annoying yet at the same time fun to watch, 50s and 70s BatMite was just an annoying pain in the neck

  • when they finally bring Superman into the series they should also have Mr. Mxyzptlk visit too, i would love to see how they depict him

  • @doctorwhom1 Superman has been seen in the series, at least twice. With his back shown in the Titans episode, and as Clark Kent at Batman's wedding. He is partially mentioned (as well as Mxyzptlk) as the friend of Metropolis in this episode.

  • Is... Is that Kevin Smith dressed as Batman at :00? All the way to the left.

  • @PunkXBlaze : I think you're right! It's supposed to be Kevin Smith in the Bluntman costume! nice!

  • what I love about this episode (besides what has been said) is that the rest of the episode is a parody of an old Daffy duck cartoon,in which he hits his head while reading comics and dreams of being chased by ridiculous but scary supervillains

  • "i'll give you an official batarang, and I'll sign it... with my official bat-pen"

  • @Kelcyus and he'll use batman credit card!

  • @VulcanSugar Never leaves home without it.

  • The Speaking Batfan boy is voiced by Deidrich Bader, B&B Batman himself.

    Thats just a friggin riot.

  • I love Dini and Timm as Harley and Joker.

  • Love how this shows mixes the campy, yet funny, elements of the sixties show and the dark seriious tone of the original Animated Series

  • XD The paul dini harley quinn made me fall over laughing... Mostly because I remember him from the B:TAS ep when Harley was being replaced.

  • mario batman.

  • I most say at first I didn't like this cartoon, but over time, I started to like it more and more.

  • If you want a defintian of this show it's the Batman of the 1940s, which was a mix of the dark serious Batman of the 30s and the more lighthearted and zany style that became previlent in the 50s and 60s i.e. Brave and the Bold is show us the Batman our grandparents grew up with

  • love the guy dressed as harley quinnm like in that one episode of batman TAS

  • Venture bro batman!

  • meh

  • Man, this show got Batmite perfectly like the Superman animated series got Mxyzptlk. Annoying yet funny and fun to watch.

  • I love how they have all the other styles of animated batman there too, just to keep things balanced.

  • This "justification" made me rage a little. Episodes like "Gameover for Owlman" is enough to prove me that this Batman new series is actually good. This episode was like a big middle finger for anybody else.

  • @ruy1981

Well it's not like they said the darker tone was bad, just that the lighter tone could be good as well. So stop QQing.

  • @ruy1981 bat mite's little speech at the comic con is actually defending this show for those who think to too silly. This episode is a funny parody of batman, but does it from the perspective from us comic fans. I can see how some people could take this episode the wrong way.

  • this is GENIOUS what is this chapter!!??

  • Loved how they did this show defense so well.

And the Paul and Bruce cameo was priceless.

    "Meh"

  • It sounded like they were just sending a big middle finger to the dcau and comic book fans by drawing literal strawman versionsof those fans .

  • I agree about "fans" being total headaches sometimes . but I personally just liked the style of The Batman and I find the new version too "cartoonish" though it's a pretty fun show to watch .

  • Thats one good deal!

  • lol @ all the different Batman styles...and the cameo of Paul DIni as HQ

  • Joker fanboy does typical internets reaction at 0:54

  • @darkxaur

Its supposed to be Bruce Timm and Harley is Paul Dini

  • @903153 Really? Awesome. :3

  • nolan batman lol !!

  • I love that the fan has a smily on his bag. Watchmen!

  • the guy in the harley outfit at 0:53 looks like the same guy from the episode 'joker millions' don't beileve me? check it out! type J oker M illlions (2/2)

i hope they put Harley in the series

  • dark knight batman at 00:01 lol

  • love the guy wearing the batman mask a la Hank Venture in the beginning.

  • Was the Batman who kept pushing up his glasses supposed to be Kevin Smith?

  • i don't think so but there is a resemblance :))

  • @angeltosome no. Kevin Smith batman is in the very first frame on the left. You can see him right before hitting play.

  • The Ep with Kevin Conroy as the batman of the alien planet is awesome. BUT what is going to be EPIC is the ep where they have: Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill AND ADAM WEST as guest voices...That is so much friggin awesome in one episode!

  • WHAT?!

  • the nerd they were making fun has point during 90's and early 2000's they would push envelope of what you could do on kids shows and not just batman other show they could make adult enough to enjoy it years later but tame enough for children.

  • lol I thought this show sucked because like those fans I didn't like THIS Batman, but the clip alone showed me how awesome this show is.

It was basically a big "f-off" to the hardcore fans xD

  • CALENDARMAN!!!!

  • what kind of badguy is calenderman?

THAT HAS TO BE ONE OF THE LAMEST VILLANS IVE EVER HERD OF THATS EVEN WORSE THAT KITE MAN!!!!!

DC should be ashamed of them selves!!!

  • You obviously haven't heard of the Bug-Eyed Bandit...

  • @nightcrawler491 That guy who asked the question...yeah. You.

  • @nightcrawler491 Calendar Man is awesome. Pick up Batman: The Long Halloween and Dark Victory. I'd love to see more of Calendar Man in comics today.

  • I love how that guys mask makes a fart noise

  • i love the guy that speaks out here, could somebody pleasse put up that scene where Calenderman appears?

  • 0:00 that's the batman from the dark knight

  • 1:10 what? Calendar man?

  • It would've been amusing if the DCAU Batman was one of the Alternate Reality Batmans he pulled out in that episode where he teamed up with Joker.

  • They ARE going to get Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill to voice characters on this later on.

  • I can imagine an episode with Bat-Mite trying to help fight Music Meister!

  • Obsessive fans are amusing. Moreso because that whenever a show they watch makes fun of them they actually are ecstatic about it!

They're all like "OMG the show paid attention to me!"

Yeah, to make fun of you, you dorks!

Dork is a funny word... and apperently it means whalecock.

  • :54 Paul Dini and Bruce Timm

  • @Bladerunner93 Man, that's hilarious!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • in the biggening you will see the dark night suit

  • Heh, Calender Man, villains like that you just gotta feel sorry for.

  • 0:53 MEH

  • Bat-Mite defends the show within the actual show. I love this show.

  • This is such a great scene!

  • Anyone ever complains that Brave & the Bold doesn't have "dark" Batman? I'm giving them this link.

  • Bat Mite is Pee Wee Herman

  • Really? I LOVE PEE WEE!

  • Turbonerds.

  • Reminds of Larry from Teen Titans.

And yes i know that Larry was a Robin version of Bat-mite.

  • Joker: "meh"

    hahha!!

  • Paul Dini is Harley Quinn

and Bruce Timm is that Joker XD

  • Comment removed

  • Lovely... and possibly the best response they could have given to those who complain about the show for being too... well whatevever.

But at the same time, people will complain about anything.

Anyway, this was a great episode... Just fun to watch and superbly animated.

  • cool tv show

  • reminds me of larry from teen titains

  • Yeah, I think they're from the same dimension or something.

  • @EVEMASTER99 Larry was based on Bat-mite.

  • Pee-Wee Herman is Bat-Mite lol

  • meh

  • Bruce and Paul were hilarious. xD

  • seen the episode, it was so funny! lol XD

  • Haha I saw Batman Beyond in there!

  • where, me no see him........

  • he's the first guy in the scene to the far left with the red Batman emblem

  • His most terrifying villan yet.

  • Of course I liked the shout-out to Batman: TAS that was in the audience.

  • Looks like there was also a JL/JLU Bats , and also a "The Batman" Bats in the crowd, as well.

  • Can't wait to see the full episode. Though I don't like Bat-Mite's voice.

  • Hi Hank.

  • Haha... a baby in Bats disguise.

Calendar Man was a cool touch. And Batman knows the right way to handle his super-powered fan.

  • nice reference to Batman Begins/The Dark Knight 0:01. fan boy was hillarious but I agree my Batman is a gritty urban crime detective

  • at the beginning you can see one of the fans wearing The Dark Knight costume

  • lol at Bruce Timm and Paul Dini.

  • The guy dressed up as Harley appeared once, in "Joker's Millions!" I have that episode. Come to think of it, I have all the Batman: TAS Episodes, except for those movies.

  • Haha that guy is Paul Dini, writer of Batman: TAS episodes. In fact, he wrote this episode

  • they are paul dini (harley) & bruce timm (joker)

creators, scripters , editors , of BATMAN TAS , SUPERMAN tas, JUSTICE LEAGUE AND JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED

paul dini writer of gotham city sirens, street of gotham and detective comics

  • DCUA avrevied

  • Reminds me of the Robin version from the Teen Titans!
