I'm not surprised they charge you for unsubscribed people. They also don't tell you when your account gets hacked! Seems to fit.
Yes, they got broken into twice within less than a year! Can't post a link here, but search for:
aweber hacked email addresses stolen again
You're putting your business reputation on the line using them. Your subscribers are going to think you sold their email address when they suddenly get spam. Happend to me and it's not pretty! I'm moving my list elsewhere.
They should make this a lot easier to do, and not make people have to chat with them to do it, I guess they make a lot extra money doing this as I believe many don't know this, it's a bit cheap/unfair of them to do this, there should just be a setting say to keep or not to keep unsubscribers in log.
I actually found this out just recently myself. I did contact aweber to delete my unsubscribers and they had absolutely no problem with this ... I just have one complaint though, since I have learned this, I have been deleting my own unsubscribes but, I noticed that it does NOT change the list numbers ... I think it is underhanded of aweber to MAKE us CONTACT them to delete our unsubcribers, in order for them to actually be removed from our list numbers.
Hi, I'm not signed up with aweber but am thinking of doing so because I'v heard so much good things about it. This is a very helpful video, a good thing to look out for.
I like this. I'l try it.
