  • Wow this is neat I was checking some of your video's after the one you sent to me and I enjoy your viseo's thanks for taking me alone om your site seeing. Have a blessed Christmas. :)

  • @wordofadvice1

Thanks for checking out some of my other videos. Glad to take you along anytime. I have a new video every Friday - and by now there are already 86 minutes and a few extras.

    Happy Christmas.

    Luci

  • @GNYBerlin I really do appriciate you and your videos thank you so much and God bless You Luci.:)

  • nice nice nice

  • @springbreakvacation Thank you!

  • @azzarbprime1 I knew it!

I can't wait to see the Grand Canyon with my own eyes - and hike around.

It's on my shortlist of "Still need to see in the US" together with the red woods and San Francisco. I should put ABQ on the list - so one day I can meet Azzarb & the elusive mr. b.

Just finished tomorrows video. Ahead of time for a change. It will be public tomorrow morning (New Mexico time).

    Have a great evening.

    xo Luci

  • @azzarbprime1

    Hi Mike,

Hah, I don't think that says too much about your age. In America you can retire so young - from the police force or because you struck it large on Wall Street...

No, don't think I've walked across the Mississippi River - or across a London bridge. I do remember walking across Pont Neuf in Paris and the Charles Bridge in Prague - and countless bridges in Hamburg, Amsterdam and Berlin.

I bet you've even stood at the Grand Canyon! There's so much for me to still see.

    xL

  • @azzarbprime1 You are way ahead of me in regards to walking the bridges of the world. All the bridges I've walked across are much shorter and less famous. But I've walked through the old Elbe river tunnel in Hamburg. That one is cool. I'll add a few more bridges to my mental list now.

    Warm wishes,

    Luci

  • This version seems to be more alive. That makes 10 times that I look at both, I manage not to see a big difference. It is, I believe a visual impression.

  • @ArtsKris Wow, Christian, I really appreciate that you are looking at the videos so thoroughly. I kept looking back and forth between the two (and actually a few others) as well - trying to choose which one I liked better. Realized they're just a bit different.

  • I love both versions of this bike ride looked like a great ride.

  • @Rutle Thanks, Cat. Since you liked both, you can maybe understand that it was difficult to choose. ;-)

  • Alternativ Video from a alternativ cycler :))

    Ödi

  • @odimix1 Haha, yes, totally!

Viel Spass in Brooklyn bei Deiner naechsten New York Reise. Eat cheesecake at Junior's!

  • Hi Luci .. Like them both .Watched the original and commented but YouTube played up and never posted ..... Love filming from my bike .Tricky though .Did you use the bullet camera device ..? Am hoping to get one for such moments Save myself and Lumix from a fate called falling .. Have a great week .Lovely and sunny here today .:-) Helena x

  • @HelenaMikas

Oh, what is going on with YouTube these days? I liked and commented on a bunch of videos over the weekend and none of them showed up in my feed.

Yes, bike filming is tricky - even with the GoPro camera I used. Not familiar with bullet camera device. Maybe the same thing?

Glad to hear it's sunny in Berlin. It's been pretty here as well - but getting cold...

    x Luci

  • Really good video. I liked this.

  • @michi12388

    Thank, Michi!

  • hmm, i think in the end, i like the version you went with for the "official" video, but both are great and bring back happy memories!

  • @itsjustyu For some reason I didn't see your comment the other day. Feels like a win that you liked the official one better. Feels like I made the right decision...

  • Digging the stop-motion feel here, Luci!!

How long of a walk is this, btw?

    *Franc ;-)

  • @FilmKritikTV Thanks, Franc.

The official version is even more "stop motion"-esque.

In real time it took me 9 minutes to ride across. It's almost 2km long. So walking would take maybe somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes - depending on how often you stop to step into the bike lane and take a picture ;-)

If you come to New York, I'll take you...

    x Luci

  • Mount one facing backwards too so we can see those near misses spinning in your wake. :-) I think your technical woes resulted in a cool effect. Thanks Luci.

  • @FrankBenlin Haha. You totally just made my day. That's a brilliant image. Now, I have to try something like that. I actually have access to 2 GoPros - just no mounts. Will have to figure something out. I'm still laughing (that quiet inner laugh, not the LOL).

    Thank YOU, Michael.

  • You're following in the footsteps of Citizenstand. He once did a video like this too I seem to remember :)

Cool though. I wish it was me cycling there.

  • @EdEditz You know, I haven't been to his channel in a long time. Does he still post videos? Did he actually ride across the bridge or was he standing on it? Standing in different places maybe? Stop-motion-style? That'd be cool.

Actually I haven't been to your channel in a while. I will fix that now.

When the time comes that you bike across the Brooklyn Bridge, remember me ;-)

    Have a great weekend.

    Luci

  • @GNYBerlin No he actually cycled across just like you did here. :)

  • @EdEditz He's still posting. Aren't you subscribed to him? You should be :)

  • Nice vid, now I what a NY minute must feel like, but love the shots in this one, keep on filming showing us the world through the camera lens, and hope you have a great weekend, Luis.

  • @luiestum Yes, yes, you gotta keep moving, fast, fast, fast. That's New York. I have already filmed something for this week (posted next Friday). But who knows what else will happen in front of my camera.

    Have a fantastic weekend, Luis.

    x Luci

  • @azzarbprime1 Thanks, Mike. By now it's quite late here so I will say Good Night and have a wonderful Saturday.

    xx Luci

  • schön geworden. ;-)

  • @bangalorebobbel Danke!

  • Comment removed

  • nice alternate take as well !!

  • @Neueregel Thanks, Nodas. Sometimes it's hard to make a simple choice. So I just simply chose to post both videos ;-)

  • I like this one too. You can really see how often people just step out in front of you lol.

  • @jrod1982djw Glad you like this one, too. It also struck me how many things (like swerving around people in the bike lane) only show up in this version of the video.

  • so simple yet so good

  • @beidlgsicht Thank you!
