if the LHC makes a black hole thats stable, it will be attracted to the gravity of the earth (the center of the earth, that means) itl have no problem travelling there due to its tinyness (it will be so tiny itl dodge molecules), but it will eat all atms it finds. anyways, if there will only be one black hole, itl take billions of years, if there are 100 black holes, itl take some hundreds of thousands of years

Basically I thinkt that the LHC is a good thing and will improve our knowledge but I think the worries are not completely absurd. It is very unlikely that something like a black hole will happen, but the chance is not zero. If our theories about matter are basically correct, nothing will happen. But why do you do an experiment?
