Worst song to play at a wedding and one of the most overplayed classical pieces of all time. Either than that, it's quite beautiful. I hate how this song is featured in La Corda though. Feels like the director doesn't have a good grasp on classical music.

@julienlego How is it a bad song to play at a wedding? Just because it's popular? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm honestly wondering. And I don't mind that the directer used it in this show, because most people who watch this show aren't exactly experts on classical music, so it's nice for us to hear something we recognize. Like Ave Maria. That's the best song in this show, in my opinion.

The song has been chosen time and time again as a wedding song since the 80s. Try to picture a really popular song being overplayed on radio stations for three decades straight.

@2RandomGirls In my view, the decision to use this piece in the anime is very cliche and childish. There are plenty of songs that they could have chosen, such as Elgar's Salut D'Amour. Beethoven wrote some fabulous piano and violin duets, like Spring Sonata.

@julienlego Well maybe it is a bit childish... But most viewers of La Corda D'oro don't know much about classical music. Because this is such a popular and well known song, it strikes a nostalgic chord in the hearts of the viewers. You have to remember, this anime is aimed at teenage girls. Of course they're going to use a song famous for being played at weddings.
