If you're trying to wrap a gemstone take a piece of wire and hold against the stone with your thumb, Take the wire down and around the bottom of the stone bringing it back up in a spiral around the stone before wrapping around the original end of wire and forming the ends into a wrapped loop.
Perhaps you could make another video showing how to make a cage and /or a ring for loose gems. Will be more effective to help understand your explanation and much appreciated. Have tons of loose gems but dunno how to wear them..:)
