Nice run. I wish SEGA's rankings site were still online -- I'd love to see if my time on Happogahara was as high as it was when I posted it. At one time, I had the 7th (if I recall correctly) fastest time in a MR2 on that track. My name was SERIN.

You'd better be carefull using wheels on this game, specially on this circuit, why? because many people have destroyed their wheels playing this game trying to keep the best times, even in the arcade version the problem exists, wheels may die if you play seriously this circuit or any other from this game :(, there are many places talking about this thing use google xD, my own driving force pro died after 15 races on this track :(.

i have a couple questions 1: where can ya buy the PS2 version for initial D? 2: is it possible to system link battle with a friend who has it also? lastly is there a wheel hookup for PS2 thats possible 2 buy? this game looks awsome i am thinking bout getting it but it wouldnt really b worth it to me if i can race my friends. thx

you cannot race friends in this game, in other words, only single player. that is the only real shitty thing about this game. As for the game itself, check play-asia or something...wheels are supported, although I don't know which ones are the best.

avoid wall contact at any cost, even if it means taking the turn a little slower. Also, ver.2 is unbalanced with cars. So depending on the car you're driving with, might be harder to drop under 2'40, like with FDs and GC8s...also jumps matter a lot. I guess that's about what you need to know to improve a little, the rest you know, shift down, brake. That's basic. Hope it helps, good luck.

1. I only use the controller, always.

2. I did not hack, cheat in any sort of way. =.=

3. You do not need to use any eraser in this track to achieve this time.

4. I hear a lot of people bad mouthing this run, however I don't see these same people producing a faster time, so, stfu.

Eraser is for noobs. You can't eraser in a real manual transmission car, you noob. It's an abuse of the physics engine. Learn to play.

What difference does it make? Theirs a huge advantage to a wheel over a controller. And i do better in TA with wheel then controller. Not only that, in arcade you can do eraser faster and more accurate.
