  • @HotHeadCJ Not sure, can't be too serious as I've been driving the truck for 12 months with the air locker not working. Likely an activation issue. Thanks.

  • what the general way to prevent a roll over in this kind of terrain? im learning how to offroad now, got a ranger tho not a toyo

  • Hey great video, what type of lockers are did you have installed?

  • @andyoopoo ARB AirLocker in the rear, although it has since failed. I am yet to investigate the cause. Thanks for watching.

  • @vk2afl arbs fail!?

  • @HotHeadCJ I fixed the rear diff lock this weekend just gone, there was oil in the line which is a common problem from what I've heard. But I also found the brass union on the diff housing was loose, worse than finger tight. Another triumph for Macquarie 4x4! Anyway, the diff lock works great now - it was great to head off road and use it again, see my other videos.

  • Great car, Great fun, Great Australia :)

  • Awsome truck, setup brilliantly, got to love the diff locks!!

  • what area are you four wheeling in

  • now that is fast........

  • as far as an offroad vehicle is concerned, your hard pressed to beat a 80 series cruiser. heavy on gas though.

  • Very nice i just bought an 05 prado 4l v6 im some what new to the offroad scene but this gives me a bit of confidence with my choice of vehicle :P

  • it was noting :p

  • buy a toyota leave the tools at home. buy a LR you better tow a trailer full!!!

  • Prados?

    Not Bad off road

  • i thought the title meant 120 kph =[

  • What's better, The Toyota Landcruiser Prado or the Nissan Patrol??

  • They are both excellent. They are both comfortable, strong and capable.

If you want an all-out off roader, buy a Patrol. If you want on road highway comfort and good offroad ability and reliability go for the Prado.

To solve the entire problem buy a big landcruiser.

The Prado has limited wheel articulation in the front end due to it having independent suspension. Not much can be done. The patrol however has many suspension upgrade options.

At the end of the day they are both good. :o)

  • But is the big landcruiser better than the Patrol?? Im a big fan of the Landcruiser, and my cousin keeps arguing about this Patol lol, so I guess he's right.

  • The Big Cruiser is more comfortable than the patrol. The newer 100 series have IFS so they handle better on road but lack suspension travel in the front end which limits front end articulation and therefore ability. If you talk about landcruisers with solid front axles then they are just as capable off road. The nissan has always had a stronger drive-train so they are better for converting to off road competition vehicles.

Both are very capable, reliable and strong. Both will take you anywhere

  • The toyota Landcruiser

  • iphone is the best

  • I thought she was raised, but when it passes you see the standard Shocks!! Class UP TOYOTA :-)

  • Not quite sure what you mean. My vehicle has Bilstien shocks and ARB Old Man Emu Springs and it has been lifted. Cheers.

  • how do you get to here from Sydney? Thanks great vid

  • I wish I had lockers

  • true offroading spirit

  • very good video indeed

  • Well done, nice and slow = no damage. If you want to see fast watch my vid prado doing monos. Luckily didnt damage anything mechanical. Its great to see a prado out using 4wd instead of just taking the kids to school. They are very capable 4wds with few mods. Great section of track there, looked like fun.

  • Well done, nice and slow = no damage. If you want fast watch my vid and see what happens....... I just like seeing Prados out in the bush instead of taking the kids to school. They can be very capable 4WDs with little mods.

  • u guys have no idea

have u every watch tff trucks??

well if u have u would no to get those hills u need speed. could see the prado driving up one of those hills at that speed??? well i carnt.

  • hahahahaaa - enough said, well done. Thanks for participating.

  • Click on my user name and watch the video of my Triton driving up the same hill. Take note of the speed I am traveling. This might help you understand what we are talking about.

  • Well done Drew,Is there any more of the 120 to watch.

    Russ

  • G'day Russ! I've been lazy and haven't uploaded any more videos. This one was shot by Brett.

  • I am in the process of editing a video of the whole day. I will post it soon.

  • Who said I was too proud?? It's just a video. I'm so happy that you go faster, and you needed to tell us all about it. Good for you. Well done. YOU must be so proud. Bye kid, go and study your punctuation homework.

  • m8 my dad drives his 80 series crusier up that with a camper on it so thats nothing. plus we go faster and we dont get stuck. dont be to proud.

  • dont be a dickhead, like evryone else on utube, be glad he posted!

  • Why is it that bogans think driving fast up a track means they have skill. IMO the slower and safer you can drive an obstacle the better. The only skill in driving fast would be in your dad still being able to sip his can of bundy and rum while driving it....
