@NazhitsREALLYHARD yes Watership Down is a good film too, but it would have cost a lot of money to make Watership Down. The makers had to pay the song writers, the animators, the guys that were envolved in voice over etc.etc..

The Snowman on the other hand had simple graphics, and a great sound track. No speaking parts, so the snowman could be understood anywhere in the world. It would not have been very expensive to make. Its a lesson in what can be achieved with a small budget.
