He did hip-hop and rap in his earlier albums, which are awesome. Usually I am not a hip-pop or rap fans, but the way he did it are soooo..... soulful with substance. His lyrics are poetic and beautiful. Every one of his albums is worth more than what I bought for. :-)

I bought Yell Fire in Roseburg, Oregon and played it as I drove out to the coast. It was a beautiful sunny August afternoon, and it was the absolute perfect soundtrack for such a beautiful drive. That is one of the best albums start to finish that I have heard in quite some time.
