There is guy that named KeithKessingerMusic (The guy that does the waldo videos) He blatantly put a song on youtube of him performing all the instruments that he claimed was blood and fire. Apparently he said it was leaked for a short time and he learned it so he could show all of us Van Halen fans how great the new tune was. Come to find out the liar did it only to promote himself and I'm upset about it because lots of guys believed him. Protest him! He banned me from commenting.

This song was morphed into at least two classic VH songs. Mean Street and Outta Love Again. Now with it being reworked for the new album, we can hear how they envisioned it to sound as a stand alone song

Hey Maiden can you try this on your next album. Reworking the old stuff never released is bar far the best bec we all liked the older sound stuff we grew up on and not the new trendy shit the bands try to to today with there new albums. Stick to what works. Motorhead and AC?DC do and it works teh best for me.

So what's happening? Are they recording the new album/CD with previously recorded but re-mastered tracks or are they recording anew using old material? Cuz 1978 Dave probably sings a lot different from 2012 Dave.

@LordOfNothingham It should be really interesting to hear. They are recording some whole songs again, but I suspect also there will be new songs with pieces of old demos. (basically the way every album has been almost for them.)

No problem at all with old songs. It's not a parameter. I want good songs! :)

I've heard some of the old songs recorder under horrible conditions and they sound fantastic anyway! If they release some of them and some new stuff or just old stuff with a modern twist and proper recording and mastering, I don't care. I've been listening all day to the stuff from the Wah? and I'm floored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

@aNdYmAtTeR agreed. Most artists take old ideas and make them new songs anyways. The only difference is their ideas aren't on demo tapes owned by die hard fans lol. Rock on VH!
