I've been browsing for quite a while now for some cool cintro's / gameboots now that I got my PSP modded etc...

Now I have the "Iron man 2 brief case suit -> flaming psp logo" cintro and "PSP logo gets shot up" gameboot... but the thing I'm really wondering;

Nope, gotta have Custom Firmware. To change the Gameboot you have to swap a file out in the flash0 folder in the firmware

Yeah.. Leogets, you cant brick your PSP Doing this. Only Semi-Brick. And As long as you have a custom Firmware (Which most people have when they Edit Gameboots and stuff) You can go into recovery mode and Bring your psp back.

Actually unless you wanna brick your psp dont do that... When you rename the file just name it gameboot not "gameboot.pmf" as pmf is the format it should be in not apart of the name. I mean unless you want to use or psp as a door stop.

You're a fool. Without the .pmf extension, the PSP won't even recognize the file. I just tried it to prove myself correct. Perhaps your windows settings hide known extensions? and as for bricking a PSP, i hardly think that is possible editing /vsh/resource/ It's not required for the recovery kernel therefore even if you totally fucked it up, you could easily recover.
