@InDfornotbeingInD well i think everyone wants a seat at ferrari, exept for Hamilton, he grew up a Mclaren fan, and will always want them. but i dont think its the fact everyone wants a seat, its the fact of who ferrari wants in there seat. and they want massa, and at this point i think they need to give up on him for Kubica, Bianchi, or Perez.
@ImFasterThanTheStig 2008 was Filipe's strongest year, but he was no where near to Hamilton's Mclaren and only thanks to FIA he was able to fight for the WC to the last race.
haha are you kidding me - truely hamilton is a nice gifted driver but please don''t talk about the fia and fiaT or stuff like this. in my opinion even spa was correct although i can understand the opposite talking the rules were modified after thisone so he was within the rules at spa - but other penalties like canada or japan were correct. then just from the driver point of view you have to mention that massa was 08 the better driver but mclaren the better team...
... and please tell me things happen to lewis like hungary or singapore (we now the story behind^^) and this are just the big problems - things like hamilton with bad pit-stops at malaysia also happend to felipe for example at the canadian gp were the refuelling system dodn't worked and he lost minimum of a 2nd place maybe even the win (dropping from the 3rd to last!) - so I must be mistaken if one can say felipe had more luck or sth like that compared to hamilton.
@e1gr What are you talking about??.What FIA???.Massa was clearly the driver to beat in 2008,and Ferrari was by far the fastest car that year.Remember Massa retiring from the lead in Malaysia,Hungary and Singapore. He could have got 30 points in these races and he got nothing, and maybe none of them was due to his faultThis was enough for him to lose the WDC for 1 single point.I know you mean on Spa about Hamilton's penalty but that was nothing compared to Felipe's opportunities lost that season
@windflasher0 No in Singapore it was the mechanics fault.Felipe was given the green light to go but it was a misunderstanding between the Ferrari pit crew that's why Felipe didn't deserve to lose the championship in 2008 but Ferrari really made some amateur mistakes that year and that cost them a lot.
@windflasher0 I don't know whether you don't understand or you can't read well.I'm not blaming Massa in 2 posts I have written here there is not even a word that says that I blame Massa. Please read them again carefully and then comfirm it back to me.
@Ferrari123planb Well I don't justify him now in 2010 and 2011 for his poor performances,I don't know he has changed something he doesn't have that enthusiasm he had before losing the WDC in Brazil, but 2007 and 2008 seasons definitely were supposed to be his years. He really was great in that time, very fast and confident but unlucky with some car failures.I repeat it,Brazil 2008 has left a balck hole in his heart and is really difficult for him to regroup himself back again.
@blerand91 i was never a massa fan but when he lost that title in 2008 on the final corner in his home country with his whole family watching that moment and the moment michaels engine blew out in 2006 in japan in my opinion are the 2 most heartbreaking things that can happen to a driver. but michael can recover cuz he has 7 titles but when u loose ur first and probaly only by that much its just heartbreaking. if i were him in that moment im pretty sure i would even cry. i feel bad for felipe.

2008 was Felipe's year. He should have won the WC. I don't think he will get this chance again.
