  • golfs so complicated!! i hate the fact that he makes it look so easy! far much more harder said than done but still a great watch

  • @jtd14kop For me, Golf is so addicting BECAUSE it's so hard. The challenge is what keeps me coming back...pursuit of perfection.

  • thanks for the tips

  • Hey Michael!

I have the same problem as steve. I am about to turn 16, I am about a 10 handicap but I struggle off the tee terribly. No matter what I try at the range, same problem occurs. My irons are my strongest part of my game and I feel if I could hit a consistent 270 yard drive then I would be down to about a 6 handicap. I just don't know what to do!!

  • @MrRagnello17 You supposed to hit down on irons and slightly up on the driver. Tilt your spine a little to the right (if you're right handed) and that should make your left shoulder slightly higher than your right. That should help a little.

  • @zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz great tip. I recently discovered at the range how much better I hit my driver by tilting to the right and changing my spine angle at impact...I can't tell you how much better my driver is...its like night and day

  • @MrRagnello17 It could be a number of things-first thing I would try is checking that the hands lead the clubhead into impact slightly. Any flipping/pushing with the hand and the club will lead the hands and you've got no chance to control the clubface.

  • @CgTvShow

yet you don't like proper spelling. go figure, LMAO

  • 1. pause at 2:44

2.imagine that this was your basement

    3. would you ever get bored?

  • @0walsh I always think that when I watch the show, haha.

  • @0walsh that is my basement....joking... i wish tho!!!

  • OH! now he's talking more slowly and not a 78rpm (my dad's era lol)

  • Same problem for me, but that tip didn't help. Actually, when I move the ball forward in my stance, I tend to hit fat drives. I am a good iron player, but my drives are very erratic. I have heard that swinging too far inside is the reason for the fat tee shot. When I correct that and swing steeper, I slice. Any tips?

  • @ugatrack I'm assuming by fat, you mean you are taking a divot. Most likely you are not pushing your hips forward and up with your legs enough or you are releasing the club early. When you say erratic, what do you mean? Are you slicing, hooking, etc? Sometimes you can hit a straight push to the left (righty) and a huge slice the next shot and they are caused by the same thing. What is your pattern?

  • always top class tips for beginners like us!! pity they dont have golfchannel in the UK/Ireland now!

  • THANX.
