Anyway, I say again I hope to see the UE3 also for other phones, just like the Bada ones from Samsung because that have the same HW (the SOC used by iPhone 4 is manufactured by Samsung, BTW)....
Ah ah ah... you know nothing about Bada. It's clear. And you'll hear more and more about it in the near future... no give ups, not at all dear fanboy who hates fanboys ;)
the graphics up close look horrendous it doesnt have any AA nor active characters, honestly its not that graphicly intensive but it would still suck to play any games with those controls
Last time I checked even tetris is a game , just because you don't like a game that doesn't mean it's not one.
Also why the fuck would you plug in a controller when you have a touchscreen? The whole point of mobile devices is to be mobile. 2 people can play on the same iPad and 2 iphones can play with bluetooth.
Stop being an idiot. Apple in the mobile market is the leader in games.
You are really confusing me , are you reading my comments? I listed 2 3d games which rock on the iphone , the video shows amazing graphics , there are also flash games type like angry birds for quick pickup games.
And zelda on the nes? LOL are you still stuck in the 90'? That looks worst than flash games written 10 years ago.
I am not sure what you are on about .Apple has lots of games. Literally , wheter you like it or not.
@rolloLG the only problem is that big developers like Id software or EPIC, and i'm sure that the most in the future will focus on iPhone, and not the other phones
@rolloLG the wave may have a better GPU, but the iphone wins because of 2 simple reasons: iOS and AppStore - and for example you need both of them to run Epic Citadel.
That iOS is not the best among iOS, Bada and Android, as someone supposed here. Read more carefully what I write because I've never said they're the same, please.
@rolloLG What's the best then? You said iOS is not better "at all" compared to Bada an Android.
There are some things that Android does better (notifications), but there is still a whole lot more that iOS does. I think iOS still "wins" in many more areas than Android currently.
And while I haven't followed Bada much, I hardly think that a 1.0.0 is going to be all around "better" than an OS in its fourth revision.
@rolloLG I don't want to start a flame war. A good discussion is fine with me.
It looks like Bada 1.1 isn't even out. (Only SDK 1.0.0 is available so no developers are using 1.1)
I'm not sure I see how installing an app to an external SD really makes much sense, or makes Bada more compelling.
Also, I don't know where you're getting the idea that you can only use 16-24MB of RAM on iOS. You could use around 64 back on the original iPhone (which only had 128 total). Check your facts and get back
@rolloLG apple carefully explained why this limited-to-7-API multitasking is optimal vor mobile devices - its the only way to multitask without losing any noticeable performance and it preserves battery life in a great way. The moment has come that iOS suits all my needs for mobile devices and I cant think of improvements that are really an asset.
This is the "excuse" from Apple ;) First of all it's a hassle for the programmers to manage multitasking instead of the OS by itself automatically, second I can't see why the user can't choose to run whatever he wants and be responsable for the battery drain without being forced by Apple decision.
Anyway I was just asking and hoping for a Samsung Wave version too since they have the same (98%) HW and the same SOC. Don't want to start a useless flame...
Instead of running the apps letting them suck resources , just make them freeze and ONLY act if they are supposed to. This way you can resume your app from where you left and apps that need to stream , download , play in the background can do that.
The reason why apple doesn't allow 'personal' applications or third party apps to run on the iPhone natively is because apple wants to keep the 'integrity' of the phone intact. In terms of power users, there are less of them compared to average, standard users, which means if they allow customisation on the iPhone they cannot guarantee the ease of use from users. It's rather irritating, I know, but it's just a way for people to experience iPhone in it's perfect state as apple intended.
Don't see much of a difference.

Are you dumb? This runs on an underclocked SINGLE CORE 1ghz processor. The iPad is 0.5" thick. And it can run this.
How stupid can you be to compare this to your xbox or desktop , you carry those with you.
Apple has games , milions of them.

@xleo21 Are you dumb? I never said anything about my desktop or xbox, Im saying gaming on any type of phone or carried around device is shit

You make no sense.
What do you mean 0 games? There are 250k apps of which most are games.
Why don't you get your get your head out of your ass and stop being a hater? Apple has games.
Also not everyone has the privilage of slacking off home all day. Some people might want to enjoy a game that they can take in their pockets.
Those games are not shit just because you don't like them.

Flash games are things to have fun with for 10 min you cant have a flash game with story or depth
when apple makes a legend of zelda like on the nes then i'll be impressed, (which will never happen) but until then they still have no games

would look great on the iphone 4, higher pixel density and wider aspect ratio (3:2 vs 4:3 (iPad)), but no doubt its more fun to play on the iPad.

iOS? You're overestimating it. The OS for mobiles that introduced reduced multitasking (limited to 7 API the coders have to manage) only with v4?
iOS not better at all compared to Bada and Android. Not at all.
AppStore is at the moment the bigger app market in the world, this is true.

@mattyohe
There is not "the best", also Bada (1.0.2 and 1.1 on some new devices) still has its little faults... just like Android or iOS...
A pair of good things about Bada, compared to Android or iOS are:
- it installs the whole app and icon to the external microSD (Android still not, iOS cannot use external microSD to expand storage memory)
- single apps exe can use about 40-50MB or RAM. Android 2.x just 16-24MB and iOS the same...
But again... I didn't want to start a flame-war.
