To get the dirt out, take any kind of card and like rub it out, I did that to my wii remote and it worked perfectly! ;)

Yeah it's normal to get the rubber grips dirty! They act like sponges atracting dirt particles! XD

Anyway, I don't know how to get dust out of the corners! Maybe you could try to take the plastic part of the DS off or somethin!? That's kinda hard to do though... oh well.
