ok Swype is cool and all but the phones its on suck ass. Android has shitty progamming behind. When i was using Swype i type faster (obviously) but the phone didnt always respond to my finger while "Swyping" therefore spelling a bunch of words i didnt intend to write. it also froze on me a bunch of times. i used to defend Android phones but they suck. i never had a problem typing on my ipod touch.

Theres a thing called "jailbreaking" on an ipod system, which everything ive seen about it makes it so much like the android system.

Swype wins because you only need ONE finger. My thumb is all it takes. Iphone sucks!

iPhone will never get swype. The only reason why it doesn't have it now is because apple wouldn't let them. I typed this using swype on my droid after viewing the video on the full youtube website, not the mobile version.

while i wont discuss iOS vs Android, you gotta admit that Android has the advantage of compatibility and support, and also silverlight and flash capabilities, where the iphone need special "apps" to view flash content like youtube, or you can hope for a flash beta thats unstable or stick with flash light, either is not an option. Thats why i have a DROID II instead of an iphone, its not because im a fanboy, its because i like to browse and do stuff without worrying about compatibility.

That is not the versus between iphone and mytouch. That is swype which can be installed on iphone definitely in the future. Also you cannot compare something produced at different time like you give the math test to people in different age.

Fortunately for MySwype fans, the tester is fantastic at typing with swype, and sucks at typing with the iphone.

I just compared myself to the video and finished in 18 seconds.

@rjdjbd Obviously the video is set up, the thing is... MyTouch also has a regular on screen android keyboard, virtually the exact same as the iPhone's. But as both an iPhone 4 and MyTouch 4G user, I can honestly tell you that I do prefer the MyTouch for text messaging.

cant wait to get my htc aria. i already downloaded the apk for swype and im going to use htc syn to install it. this is a epic win. swype was actually created to help disabled people that just really hit my in the heart and makes me love it sooo much more. ^_^
