  • If a moslem talks this way, you would call him racist. For some reason, its okay for you to talk like this. How come?

  • 1 thing i like REALLY much about judaisme !

a non jew can go to heaven !

in christianity /islam only christians/muslims can go to heaven !

  • Correction:

    I wrote:

"...constitute a tiny minority of the Jewish people..."

    which should be:

"...constitute a small minority (I think about 20%) of the Jewish people..."

    -----

    Also,

Moreover, the Jewish people are, by percentage of social group, the most secular people in the world. Moreover, the Jewish people, as a whole, are the most truly, authentically, liberal people in the world. Jewish culture is the foundation of Western liberalism. Western liberalism is Jewish culture.

  • victimlesscriminal,

There are approximately 14 million Jewish people in the world.

There are approximately 2 billion Christians in the world.

There are approximately 1.5 million Muslims in the world.

The Jewish people are an ethnic and cultural social group.

The traditional religion of the Jewish people is Judaism.

  • victimlesscriminal,

Jewish people who adhere to orthodox Judaism, and the even fewer Jewish people who adhere to ultra-orthodox Judaism, which is the version of Judaism to which the Jewish people who are the topic of your video adhere, constitute a tiny minority of the Jewish people.

The traditional religion of the Jewish people, like the traditional religions of other ethnic groups, is a culturally chauvinistic religion.

  • victimlesscriminal,

The traditional religion of the Jewish people, unlike Christianity, and unlike Islam, is not a supremacist or imperialist religion.

Christianity and Islam are utter usurpations and perverse modifications of the traditional religion of the Jewish people.

  • victimlesscriminal,

Christianity and Islam, in tenets of those religions, cosmically vilify, and falsely accuse of fictional cosmic crimes, the Jewish people, an actual living ethnic group of people (one of whose members, a Jewish man whose name was the common Hebrew name Yeshua, and who founded and led a Jewish religious sect,...(continued in my comment below)

  • victimlesscriminal,

(continued from my comment above)....is worshipped as a deity by the religion Christianity, and was one of the hundreds of thousands of Jewish people who were killed by the European original adopters of Christianity, the Romans, who committed genocide against the Jewish people and destroyed the country of the Jewish people, and who subsequently, as a tenet of Christianity, falsely accused the Jewish people of having killed Yeshua).

  • victimlesscriminal,

There is currently a huge racist genocidally anti-Jewish Islamic supremacist political movement in the world.

There is currently a huge racist anti-Jewish anti-Israeli Western social and political movement in the world.

To verbally attack the Jewish people at this time is, especially at this time, an exceedingly harmful action.

Why did you verbally attack Jewish people at this time?

  • victimlesscriminal,

Why did you specifically verbally attack Jewish people at this time and not verbally attack Hindus, or Sikhs, or Shintoists, or Hopis, or adherents of any other non-Muslim and non-Christian religions?

  • victimlesscriminal,

The holding of antipathetic bigoted wrong views about, and the feeling of antipathy toward, the Jewish people (the holding of the racist wrong view: "The Jews Are Guilty") is a deeply engrained part of the culture of culturally Christian-European (Christian and post-Christian) societies - Western societies.

  • Please don't judge the religion of Judaism based on this. The searching for chametz is more of a tradition and meant to be symbolic. Jews aren't all stupid people who put validity into supernatural things (with the exception of belief in a gd). Why can't you just be tolerant of this tradition instead of harping on it when you don't really know what it is or why we do it? Do you really think all Jews live in fear of "Kareth"? Because that is a vastly incorrect assumption. This is insulting.

  • @DrinksAtSix1224 Are the religious tolerant of those who don't share their superstitions? Do you see religious leaders meeting and greeting famous atheists?

  • @Psychowanker

Do a google on 'BBC Rosh Hashanah Broadcast 2010' for the Chief Rabbi's Broadcast devoted exclusively to exactly that. Watch it and judge whether he meets and greets famous atheists. Shmuley Boteach likewise had many debates with Richard Dawkins.

I'm not saying anything at all about my beliefs and disbeliefs, just answering your claim.

  • "This stuff is made up, can you believe adults would do that to children?" Like Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy? I didn't mind the money under my pillow. I am completely on your side of the arguement, but you argue it so poorly. And the father, coming in and doing the final check for risen things and proclaiming the house free of (whatever you called it) is considered silly. They don't take that seriously. You need a stronger issue and a stronger arguement.

  • That's a tradition, it actually has nothing to do with religion per say

  • Or another lesson in 'ch' from the black non-Jewish mayor of Newark, New Jersey - and a lesson in the meaning of meaning - look up youtube of

    Mayor Cory Booker's Dvar Torah

  • Also, if you researched just a little more, you might have found that there is no 'ch' sound in religious (ie ancient) Hebrew. To hear the proper pronounciation - and see Jews in mortal fear of 'kareth' - look up on youtobe: Passover - Kol Ish - Just Had Chametz

I recommend it - to see absolute terror close up

  • OK Victimless, you have taken the Old Testament, as faithfully conveyed to you by the 3 skimpy wikipedia articles: Chametz, Kareth, World_to_Come - maybe not the most through of researches. No Jew believes the Old Testament warning, written 3000 years ago, applies today. But some believe in tradition, roots, meaning, fun rituals for children, and see that society without meaning sometimes goes wrong. And my question to you is this: Is it constructive to ridicule based on 20 lines of wikipedia?

  • I live in israel, and in the passover (2 days from now) im gonna go eat a pork steak and lots of bread in this big super-market which has also resturants and is open.

And yea, all those extremely foolish moronic fairy tales of the religious jews are simply annoying the more secular/agnostic/atheist jews.

Im just glad i have the oppotunity to do what i want, and for the more religious to do what they want.

  • @shining3210

    Well said.

  • Rituals bind religion together and make it seem real.

  • OK, I'm missing something here surely? Did the iPhone 4 get an upgrade that I missed? The ability to detect a specific type of bread in the vicinity? If not, what the fek does this app actually do?

  • I am going to pull out my hair. I can't believe they do this ..

  • "Where's it got to go?"

Put it in the bag with the rest of the detritus!

  • LOL It's pronounced HA-Metz.

  • Outstanding video! Thank you.

Any race or group of people who consider themselves "god's chosen people" is, by all reasonable definitions, not only exclusionary but patently insane. Dump ALL religion.

  • When it comes to silly religious rituals, the competition is pretty tough. But this one is definitely a contender.

  • This is incredibly stupid but judaism has many more incredibly idiotic things in it(like male genital mutilation or the law against counting jews).

    My brother said it best:

"Judaism is about making arbitrary rules and then finding creative ways to get around them."

  • Crumbs!

  • its like mom telling kids to clean up or santa wont come. believed by adults

  • What a horrible crime!

    Awefull, awefull...........

  • haha those silly jews, tho at least there's no violence involved in those retarded practices, as opposed to muzlims

those who really believe all this shit are mentally ill and there are institutions for people like that

when will the age of rationality finally start...

  • @KilluaXIII They got their violence kicks out centuries ago.... well, except for that whole "Gaza" thing, lest we forget. Radical Muslims are centuries behind the times socially, so it makes sense that they're still as blood-thirsty as the early Israelites were before they watered down Yahweh's insane demands into harmless rituals like this one. Harmless in the "it doesn't kill nations" sense of the term.

  • Religioners make me embarrassed to be human.

  • @rahotep101 People who make up words like this make me embarrassed to speak or read English.

  • @Iced1992 Really? That must be very humilifying.

  • This is eerily reminiscent of other videos of yours. On a scale, I'd not place it very high. When you already assume they are silly for being Jewish, this would actually be quite reasonable.

Similarly, when you assume I already take the silly position of supporting aestheticism it's then not so silly whatever I choose to value.

Though that is of course the entire point of any call of "extremism" -- you have normal and mild, not extremist and normal.

  • @Iced1992 Moderates support extremists. And would you laugh at a normally rational and for the most part san person that still believed in santa clause at 30? I know I would. How is this any diffrent?

  • @DemonAMVs You would laugh at him believing in Santa -- then, given that, you would not be surprised if he expected the gifts under the tree to be put there by santa. That's the bloody difference. When a belief system itself is so silly its individual components don't really rank highly at all. Also, moderates don't support extremists, in the sense that the extremists are what their religion expects them to be -- hence, moderates are mild and extremist are completely typical examples.

  • @Iced1992 In other words: they believe in a magical skydaddy that answers prayers and shoots lightning, but such an erratic god is not to be expected to act erratic when it comes to bread at specific occasions, despite being quite capable of hating a bit of flesh on a body he created?

    Bitch, please... >.>

  • ridiculous man made jokes...

  • Very silly indeed .
