I was gutted when I first saw this film as I assumed that Jimmy died, but seeing it years later, I realised he didn't. Have just seen it again (for about the 20th time) and love it still. I once went to Brighton and just by following what I'd seen in the film, found my way to 'Shag Alley' - it was covered in graffiti and had become a landmark. Hard to believe ithe film was made in 1979, that's 32 years ago!

@mi1964amigo, really this film is a B-movie one, Vespa is a mid '70 TS model with older chrome side panels, even most cars spotted in these scenes didn't exist during '60s, really a low cost movie with a great success!

Well the Lyrics are GS Scooter but the scooter Phil Daniels is riding is actually a Vespa TS125.

I have the same model hence I ride a TS Scooter with my hair cut neat. Don't want to be smartypants but I was waiting for someone to bite! KTF buddy
